Account manager required

Deeper pockets required  I bought like 9 game gears, 4 switches, 4 or 5 other nintendo consoles, the nomad and probably more that hasn't turned up yet in these last few weeks. Luckily I've repaired and sold a ton as well so it doesn't hit quite as hard.

I have quite a few sitting on shelves :D but thats my personal collection, the best of the best, or the best I have at that moment in time. I sell and build many more than I keep. If I kept all of them id have like 300 switches, 200+ game gears, at least 50 gameboys, More than 5 Atari Lynx... You get the picture  I of course tend to make a little bit and people seem to enjoy them so that's really what matters :D

It's the fact you are repairing devices that would have ended up in the bin. You know how I feel about that!

I AM NOT A SHOP.

The last report from the end user is it is great, and they are totally chuffed to bits. :D

That is bloody awesome :) glad to hear it! you never know when you do that much rework and you can only reasonably test for so long before you send it back with your fingers crossed.

Honestly nothing better than when somebody gives you something that is totally shot which you can then manage to save, so satisfying! But yea I do only buy broken things. Everything in the image above is broken in some way :D

I fully understand, I have the something on much more simple operations e.g. PC builds, where when you've had something intermittent or totally screwed you never know if it is really fixed for a much longer than you can hang on to it.

Well lads, the yellow switch that came today I quickly had a look at.. start with what I know aye, no power and drawing 5v on only one side of the ammeter.. typical pmic issues... If you look below the switch you can see the fqn chip I swapped out. Stole a good one from a donor so that's a win.

I don't like the big chip in its case and I have this bad boy so am thinking a transplant to a new front chassis is in order.

And this is the current shelf full of consoles. Its a mess in here right now but ill give it a proper spruce tomorrow and do a better pic! I think the extra advance has got to go.. don't need 3 advances no man needs 3. Always good to know that at one point everything you see here was broken :) bar the oled and steam deck.

Awesome collection!

I doubt you have any time left for gaming, but when you do get 5 minutes, which is your go-to console?

The PC  - The only game I really play is the odd game of CS go with the old fellas. Every now and again I pick up one of them and have a blast - Normally its the Gameboy Color or the Game Gear.
