My father was born and bred Tottenham. Old enough to remember their league and couple double and went to the old White Hart lane quite a bit as a kid. Haven't been there for at least 15 years. Place is totally unrecognisable now like most of London.

You are very poor at making reasonable arguments or give an objective response, everything that you say seems to be coming through a prejudiced lens.
This does not apply to all, but generally Poverty -> Lack of education -> higher risk of getting involved in gangs and crime -> expensive trainers etc are probably proceeds of crime.
But at the same time poverty does not excuse this type of behaviour, there are maybe more children that also live in poverty that do not go down the path of crime. Poverty is one factor, but not the only one.

I actually posted a handful of times to determine what was meant by a phrase you used, something you've yet to define. You're the one who has become hostile because you know it was used with prejudice against the people in question. You then continue to offer such pearls of wisdom like 'why don't these inner city kids with terrible role models just stick in school and get a good job?'. You're the epitome of closet racist, unwilling to try and understand what is actually going on but quite happy to point the finger and laugh. Luckily viewpoints like the one expressed in the OP are going the way of the dinosaurs.
