The UK retentions team are based just down the road from me, and I know a couple of people who work there, time to ring up and complain I think.

I am sick and tired of the P2P management ruining my XBOX Live experience night after night.
 
So mine is getting installed today but this thread isn't fulling me with confidence, not looking forward to the usenet performance, might just have to run it though a VPN.
 
I've had them for a couple of years, never had any big problems - did have the issue with my wirless box and the indian people said it was my computer. I rang up UK department said I was going to cancel and they had an Engineer at my house withing the hour who replaced the faulty box.
 
Got mine installed about 1 hour ago - download fluctuates between 30-48mb and upload is shocking at .7mb... i wasnt around at installation time so couldnt question.

Ill give it a day or so, but if that upload dosent sort itself out ill be on tut blower I can tell thee.

That's high, its only meant to be 5 on 50 meg
 
Ok so its going in now but I'm at work, what are the things I should be doing to the router when I get back? Disable packet flood... what else?
 
My workmate has just received a Cease & Desist letter from VM because he's downloaded over 350 gig in a month between 9am and 9pm.
Anybody else received one?
As I went on a download spree on my network meter it's showing 307GB down, that's under a month probably.

/stops downloading
