Those on o2 mobile and also on Gig1 VM, what sort of Volt perk did you get?

The default perk is supposed to be free speed bump up to the next speed, but as I'm on 1Gb already, what should I be getting as a perk I wonder. My new SIM comes tomorrow.
Your perk is VMO2's everlasting gratitude! ;)

In other words nothing really as you can't be doubled.

currently on 350mb with a sim, was paying i think £38 a month and now it has gone up to £61 due to end of contract. Tried the online chat and they offered me £68 for 1gbit and then £10 more for sim, total £78 a month... Told them no thanks.

Will be callling to cancel and see if they will do anything better. I dont want to leave them as the only alternative is the much slower BT standard fibre or whatever they call it these days.

I only pay £90 odd for 1gb, unlimited SIM, phone (don't use it) and all TV channels! Deffo cancel and await retentions!

It's so dumb all this retentions business, just keep the prices good and people will just stay, once I have done the work to get a better deal elsewhere I'm gone, it's a bit late, calling up once I've cancelled, but perhaps that is because I have a lot of choice and Virgins offering is only acceptable at a low price, for the low price I am getting not as good internet (good bandwidth, but average latency) , not as good picture quality (UHD can't match Sky or streamed content even on the Sky stuff, they clearly send different streams ) and general UX is poor, that and the mobile contract is low speed in my area.

They are not alone in that retentions rubbish, Sky did the same but once I had signed up to Virgin, I thought ah well may as well give them a bash.

The link above only leads to disappointment, I posted it the other week but quickly removed it with an edit.

You'll get an email stating: "Hello, We know you’re expecting a Hub 5, but we’re sorry to say that some of your account features won’t work with this Hub quite yet."

Can anybody help me with advice to get a new deal?
I've been with Virgin from day one and before that NTL and C&W so one of their oldest customers.
I'm paying £69 for M350, TV and landline but I haven't had the TV plugged in for 2 years because I have a brilliant satellite system that feeds the house and we don't need the landline.
I actually got through to an English speaking girl in retentions because online there is an M500 + landline deal for £38 - sorry for new customers only.
Unbelievable I've been with them from day one but they can't switch me to that.
OK, I'll have just the M350 for £34 so take the TV and landline off and charge me £34 - no we can't do that.
The best offer I've got is the same package for £48, a saving of £22 but still not good enough.

Today I've an email back from Lila saying I could be switched on between Dec & March but Virgin has always been brilliant for me so I wouldn't mind paying for 1/2 gig for £38.
The girl then asked who Lila were
I said you need to do your homework because they are going to obliterate Virgin, you will have to compete, she went online and said "OMG, is this a real thing?".

Anyway, anybody know any secret code words so I can get that New Customer deal for £38?

Folks... VM is not letting me sign up onto a new contract for 500mbit even though I am on 500mbit...
Is it because of oversubscription possibly?

In the meantime, Im sticking my middle finger at VM and moving to FTTP (Aquiss).
