I had a packet loss of 68% on Virgin last night between 6pm and 8pm. From 8PM until 11Pm My pocket loss was not measureable!
All that download speed but worse than dial up.
Not amused!
Looking over this thread it's quite clear that the issues are due to peak time and the number of users online, so VM need to sort this out by increasing the capacity loads.
Just ordered 50mb today, sick of my 10mb connection and some parts of the day getting just 500k... dont know if i will have the same problem but hopefully ill be moved up the priority ladder and be able to watch youtube videos smooth and watch iplayer etc for an extra £14 a month...
after reading and seeing the speeds on here I cannot wait to get me some hd content through my ps3 . I'm hoping the problem of when the clock hits 11 everything slows right down majorly. I surely should notice a big difference any how.
What exactly will the engineer do? how is the super hub installed? and is it exactly 'super'? on a netgear > to airport express atm.
