How do you mean "I dont do traffic shaping" ?

I've never really noticed it on 20Mb unless I absolutely rag the connection for days at a time non stop.

Just mentioning that the T+Cs on the website state that STM and fair usage are included on the 50Mb package.

Must be the way you talk to people not to get a discount, and as I see it you pay more then the VM site says on the Build you own web page.

No I pay the exact amount of £60.50 it now says on the build a bundle for

Tell them that you think this is silly as your a long term custom, im actually on the phone at the moment and just said i already know friends and family who have got this offer for £38 a month without a phone line and that the installation fee's where silly as im a long term customer.

Ended up im getting it for £38 and £20 installation, includes the router + n dongle and new modem.

If they dont give it ask to be put through to cancelations, they soon budge ;)

Tried again and got the same storey, extra 15 quid a month plus 50 quid installation fee making the 50mb broadband 52 quid/mo, the person I spoke to confirmed the advertised price of £38/mo is for new customers only (but you can take that to also mean those not on a retention deal already). I also asked about the wireless router which your supposed to get on the 20mb broadband, but that's for new customers only. It was sounding more and more like that bank advert....new customers only!

i phoned, got 50meg medium tv (with the M+) and m phone for 39 a month, but with £50 install blah.

Taken it :)

between 4 people it works out fine :D


Whats this promised upload speed?
 
They are saying 10 mb BUT I will lay money now that they bring out a new 100mb service and give 10mb with that instead.

Anyway how long left you all think until stm kicks in on 50mb ?

I think it will be like 20mb stm but double the amounts.
 
Rang up today to upgrade to find out that I've been paying too much for my 20Mb, I was evidently still on one of the old ntl: packages, works out that It'll only cost me £1 extra per month on my usual bill.

Should I seek credit for the overpayment?
 
So your paying 37 for your 20mb? Same as me if you are (although they like to tell me I have XX pounds discount which is bs as the discount only brings it down to the proper price lol sales bunch don't seem to get that though :(
