Most people are only looking at Crespos careers in the Prem though.
Compare their 'primary' league stats & their international & european stats with each other, and Crespo comes out on top.

Crespo is a very very good player.

I think someone took the league form over there career's and fowler came out on top by 0.01 goals per game. Also people seem to forget Fowler had a terrible injury when he was beginning to take the game by storm. He damaged his Cruciate ligaments, Medial ligaments and his cartilage in his same knee at the same time (Fowler gave the technical term in his book; "My knee was ******"). Any way getting back to the point Crespo is better at this moment in time.

Chelsea 4 Liverpool 0. Simple really. Only Gerrard and Lampard are close. I believe Gerrard is the better player technically, but Lampard has been in awesome form for several years. I'm not saying Carragher is a bad player, but I'd take Terry over him every day of the week. Put it this way Terry would be class for any side, I get the feeling Carragher would be rubbish for anyside bar 'Pool.

In the premiership I've always rated Jaaskelainen, and Van der Sar very highly. Both Renia and Cech get in very easy in comparison due to the team in front of them. They’re both good keepers but not great and I think they’d struggle at a weaker club.

But there will only ever be one Peter Schmeichel and I doubt we'll see anyone as good in my lifetime. Renia and Cech don't even come close.

EDIT: Yes Given is also great. Forgot about him. :o
