Does it have to be uploaded via the autoplay feature? If so, I'll have to make a few smaller ones cos I don't have any removable storage that size lol

Correct, is has to be done via the autoplay feature. However, you can simply change the numbers at the end of the command, I'm pretty certain that's how large the .jpg you want to create is, in bytes. So, say you have 315Mb of free space, google '315 megabytes in bytes'
And it tells you:
315 megabytes = 330 301 440 bytes
Or right click on it in Computer, and go 'properties'. Should tell you the free space in bytes there. I'd advise not completely filling it though, leave a bit of free space.
Got mine bumped to 23.88gb now. Could do with an extra 1.125gb to round it up nicely.
I assume you had more than normal to start with?
How much extra have you got from this?
Still not got my last 500MB, even though I've uploaded over 6GB.I read that there's a bug in their code and that I will get it, so I'll wait and see...
Wish I'd tried some of the tricks people have posted since I wasted so much time doing it!![]()
Did you do a clean install of dropbox or just updated to the beta version?
I found some problems with just updating the files. So just used another computer.
Using a flash stick i created folder DCIM and inside that another folder called camera. Then used the command someone above posted to make a 3gb file. Uploaded that. Then did it again with slightly different values.
Excellent, now got 8.4Gb!got 8.13gb of space now so have gained my full 5gb, I am sure you don't have to upload all the file as well, i just cancelled an upload of over 2gb and it gave my my final 1gb of space. also go to www.dropbox.com/free for a little bit more space
only 5 GB
