Watch Dogs - Ubisoft's Third Person Shooter

I'd rather see PhysX because at least it's useful and not a pointless piece of **** like TressFX.

Ohhh, look at our fancy hair... *****.

TressFX does make hair look good though, and it has potential for clothing physics and fabrics/foliage, lots of potential.

The FPS hit in Tomb Raider for hair alone though? DEFINITELY needs a lot of work, its worse than PhysX for FPS hits.

14 minute gameplay video:

Looks quite fun. Only thing is, I can't seem to get used to the mini map on the right side of the screen. I'm just too used to it being on the left. I wonder if it can be changed.

I really really hope this game won't be a disappointment, I got burned with l.a noire and I know its not the same developers but I was just so disappointed with that game :(

Aren't you a good guy in this? Like a boy scout hero, not even an anti-hero? Find it strange the dude doing the demo would kill security guards with no mercy. :p

Something I'm concerned about is the car driving physics model. From the vids it doesn't look very good to me, it reminds me of Saints Row 3.

Seamlessly entering another persons single player game?

I would probably have more fun by just stalking them for hours and trying to avoid being noticed.

Really looking forward to this game... it looks like it will be a pretty damn unique experience and I love how interactive the environment is, seems very immersive.

Cant say it makes much difference either way. PC still better than consoles. ;)

That really depends on which way you look at it, and I am talking as an ex bleeding-edge PC gamer who now uses consoles only. Either way, this sin't the thread for PC vs consoles BS. :)

yeah thats what i figured. just seems very close so unless someone shared info one way or the other i dont know. unless there both based off of a single source and split. they just seem too similar. but ya never know stranger things have happened.

A lot like Ray Donovan and GTA5 then.

yeah lol it seems like with this and BF4 the next gen is officially starting. Its funny though because you know a lot of the people who have complained for years that games don't push PC's enough are going to complain that they can't run things on high or ultra now.

I spend so much money on PC's so I don't have to look at those. Peace of mind >£.

I just saw a demo of this game playing on a monitor in CEX, looks good.
The guy was chasing some dude down an ally way and made a fuse box blow up POW in the kisser.

Can't wait for this game now. Next month is going to be epic as a slew of PC games are arriving, but for me Watch Dogs looks like the one I'll be playing 24/7.
