Not really followed this since the start of this year but have one question to ask - How would a 2GB 6970 GPU fare? As I fear it won't do too well in this day and age. The rest of my rig is a 3.4ghz 2600k @ 5ghz, and 16gb ram. Haven't the cash to really splash out on a gpu just yet either...

I like the idea of competetive decryption combat multiplayer!
I might take a punt on this as it is a bit different to the games I normally play (Online FPS mostly). Fortunately for me I have not really bothered with most Ubi titles since the original couple of Splinter Cell games. So whilst most of you feel this is a re-hash of their previous titles, for me it is pretty new stuff!
Totally honest opinion so far is that it looks cool. However there is a big caveat with this, and that is lack of direction makes me bored. I don't want to play a game that is linear like it is on rails, but I tend to need goals and storyline to maintain interest. Open world 'do what you want' games tend to turn me off. Titles such as Boiling Point, Just Cause 2, Farcry 2 and 3 etc have all been a novelty to start with but then I just get bored of blowing stuff up and play something else!

This looks like a cool game. Would consider launch day purchase if it scores 9/10 reviews, otherwise, I'll do what I always do and wait to get it in a sales of some kind.

I've seen mention of a "season pass" but I think that might have been consoles only?? Do you need to pay to play on the PC version? (apologies if this has been asked & answered in the thread but I don't have the time to read all the pages!)

The season pass is extra content that is separate from the main shipping game, You dont have to pay for anything other than the game to play MP on PC.
It seems like everything gets a review score of 9/10 these days. Reviews can't be trusted imo

Yeah but they have already stated in the Angry Joe video that the graphics are lower than the PC one is capable of so while it will run well on the PC (If ported well) I can guarantee you will have those complaining that their 3/4 year old PC cannot run it at max graphics at 60+fps.
