Weather temperatures are up, so how are your GPU temps?

It's been really toasty recently, 40C idle and 83C load on my 680.
Makes me want to install an aftermarket cooler...

I'd recently gone back to a GTX570 SC, and had overclocked it a bit with Precision X, anyway day before yesterday, was playing the Sniper v2 demo and it crashed, checked GPU-Z and the log said it'd got upto 89c, before packing it in. Pretty toasty!

Seems to be a huge mixture :p

WC'ing seems king by an even further margin when the room temperature rises, only so much a poor fan can do with warm air. :(

Ended up at 65 full load, no OC :( Just quickly moved it to 1150 and it got to 83.. I don't know what's the max I should go to, but I removed it anyway. That was with a crap auto fan setting too.

It's running everything max at stock right now, when it cools down I think i'm gonna properly push it and play with the voltage, it's just too warm. :p

Sitting around the average of 40c under high load and high clocks, that said it is 12c and cloudy here today :(

Tbh I don't mind, it was around 24 yesterday stuck in a poorly ventilated workshop in a black boiler suit. Safe to say I was a sweaty mess, today, not so much :p

GTX 570 gainward phantom so has a decent cooler on. Idle as in just started the comp just now and its about 45. Yesterday it was idling about 48.

People who say there below 40 either are water cooling or should prove it if normal cooling with a screen grab using gpuz.

Also my cpu i5 3570k at 4ghz is idling at "damn".. 40-45ish atm. Using a antec h20 620 with 2 synth fans in push and pull config. CM 690ii case with 2 fans pushing out on top, and one fan pulling in front and watercooling cpu is fixed on the rear pushing out.

How about a picture of my G19 keyboard ;)

Ah your card can downclock when idle, mine cant for some reason. Its always showing as 750mhz in gpuz. :(

My cpu now atm is showing 36 as idle instead of 40-45 ish. Must have needed a few mins to get the watercooling going or somit. :/

Have you got any overclocking software running that could be stopping the GPU form downclocking?

I have one of those big twin tower heatsinks on the CPU so that helps keep the temps down.

Nope no oc stuff on. All im running is razer synapse, audio driver control panel, rainmetre, steam, logitech stuff, nvidia thing near clock, avast, xpadder, displayfusion pro for to manage my dual screen screens switching pics every few mins and the sound icon.
