Weekend Football; 31st -1st - *SPOiLERS*

Beckham never was a world class player, the only thing he ever had was the ability to deliver a ball, and has over the years turned in to a good captain.

I don't it when players are over hyped / rated.

I'd love to watch him play a game for Milan however, And watching them mr tommo ! Do you think he'd keep his place in the squad when Milan are at full strength ?

Beckham was certainly world class.

The ability to deliver a ball though is a huge ability. It amazes me the amount of wide players who can't for the life of them cross a ball.

I can see him keeping his place for the rest of the season but to be honest Milan could do with bringing in some fresher faces to their Midfield in the Summer. Definately suits his style of play, especially with him having the pace of players like Kaka and Pato ahead of him. Google search justin and see what takes your fancy.

I don't see it, Not saying he was a bad player, but I think he's massively over rated.

He has the ability to pass / deliver a ball, and could take free kicks ( a lot of which were saved / missed )

He's turned in to a good captain over the years.

It's fashionable to knock Beckham. A band-wagon easily jumped on.

He was easily world class. One of the finest in his position for a number of years.

Woaw that is absolutely shocking, and these referee claimed to be trained officials, makes you wonder what passes for "trained" these days.

I can see a definate appeal coming from the Lampard red card too. Terrible decision, really wasn't Squidward's day.

You have to be able to blow a whistle, wave a flag and occasionally tell people to sit back down in the dugouts. Oh and also be able to point to the stands (just in case a manager has been naughty on the touchline).

just back from Anfield. Well not just back, but back via the pub.

My assessment:

Chelsea were poor. Liverpool were slightly better than poor but still poor. Nothing creative in the final 1/3 rd of the pitch and we haven't had that since john barnes and peter beardsly retired.

The Lampard sending off was a bit of a shock, when he pulled out red i was a bit agast but hey...will take that.

Boswingas stamp on Benyoun was kinda crazy. How close was it to the 4th official and how did he miss it????

Title decider at old trafford...that's about it really. Oh and Keane to Spurs for 10m + lennon.

^ Agree. Lennon couldn't cross a bridge let alone a ball. Don't want him anywhere near our team.

If the FA don't rescind that red for Lampard they should all be shot. Would hope for a ban/fine for Boswinga though.
