It's the same bunch everytime we lose. I have learnt to pretend they don't exist, otherwise I'd end up killing one/them.

Blackwell isn't my favourite person, never has been - never will be. But he is doing a decent job so leave him be.

You've had a good start to the season to be honest, I'd have thought that this was always going to be a hard game, well which ever game you played after you played us. We lost after we beat you last season.

Bahh, fickle football fans. Unfortunately most clubs have them, was shocking to hear them come out and really slate the team like that.

Blackwell out, sell players, what was funny, was that a lot of the players that the fans were asking for had started this game, you lost and then "oh they're **** and he shouldn't pick them".

Good performance from us today (not sure what you are on about, drunkenmaster), no idea how Fulham didn't manage to score, we did everything, near enough...the goalkeeper was outstanding, though. Good to see we played well and manage to be disappointed with a result that we would have been happy with for the last couple of seasons.

What are you on about? effective football? Newcastle have drawn one game and lost one game, You've conceded 4 goals, have the best goal difference in the league, won 7 out of 9? so far, I'd say that's pretty effective.

The Championship is a very tough league, so far, I'd be over the ****ing moon with that start if I were a Newcastle fan, considering how **** off the pitch matters seem to be.

Our football has been terrible and we've been lucky in loads of games. Cardiff, Sheff Wed, Leicester we offered nothing after going 1-0 up and in the Blackpool game we offered nothing before or after the goal (which was totally against the run of play), it was embarrassing.

The Championship is only a tough league because all the teams are the same level (i.e. not very good), we've got the biggest wage bill and most expensive squad in the league (including two Argentine internationals, England U21s, U19s etc.), I'd expect us to be top.

Can someone tell me why Keane is in the side at the moment. Was their some kind of agreement in his contract when he re-signed? I would really like to know what the deal is here.... There was no place for him at Liverpool, and I don't see it any different at Spurs. What is he? A forward out of form or out of place. or a poor midfielder?? I'm lost with this one.

****ed as a fart and I'm still damn good!

A simply awful performance today against a simply average team.
Wigan won everything in the 1st half through commitment from tackles to possesion and deserved their half time lead, that *never* happens to Chelsea now.
Chelsea looked in control in the 2nd until the pen and sending off then they had no chance as this Wigan side is very fit, strong and mobile, yet talentless.
Their 3rd goal was irrelevant as our 10 men were pushing for an equaliser, but on the whole they deserved 3 points.
I don't think this loss is a bad thing as the same happenend last year (great start to the season, touted as the best team going etc..) and we usually learn from mistakes.

This is spot on, was you at the game?

Wigan played well, Chelsea played poor, they created nothing but the Wigan defence was on form and kept you out, personally you should have never of scored, was nice to wind you men up, you should have never of won the first game in our premier league season. £25 well spent.

Arsenal should have done much better than they did, but I think that from what I saw of the game in highlights then Fulham played above their capabilities and Arsenal played below. We were playing some slick football after the goal though and the ball in to RVP was inch perfect. Arshavin disappointed me, he was clear through and somebody like him should be putting those away, but he has just come back from injury so I'll forgive him for that one.

Diaby however... Why is this guy still finding himself in the starting line up? He's got a few tricks up his sleeve now and then to round defenders, but he's no Ronaldo that's for sure. He's usually woeful in defence and dire in attack. If he gets robbed of the ball up front he rarely bothers to track back and try to win it. He's just a very lazy player and he shouldn't be on the pitch. It seems to me as though when he scored that double earlier in the season Arsene is now playing him again and again just on that premise, because he hasn't really offered much else since, apart from an ability to score for Utd. Why doesn't he go play for them instead?

Mannone was excellent and I have to say I was wrong about him for all the slating I've given to him, he really improved, he was no doubt our best player and he kept us in the game for sure. His double save showed some amazing reactions, he had the save he made to his right and then again the save that came off his face, he was brilliant throughout and looked much more confident. He might even keep Almunia on the bench when he returns!

Again, top marks to Fulham they probably should have scored more, Clint Dempsey came close a few times but like I said at the beginning I think that they played better than expected and we played poorly up until after the goal. We need to stop taking the smaller teams for granted and start preparing properly and playing with commitment against them because I didn't see that in the first half yesterday.

You are winning. If it isn't broken, don't fix it.

Newcastle, are playing effective football, you're winning, you're top of the league, maybe if you start drawing and losing you might need to change your style. At the moment, you're easing past teams, and from what I see (your on telly a lot :p) playing quite well, and from what family that watch you have said that its not too bad.

Don't complain when your winning, you'll sound like DM.

I'm in Skelmers tomorrow, fancy a pint?

Just watched the highlights and it appears to me that both Nani and Valencia are out of their depth at United, admittedly i've mainly seen them on match of that day and when they played against Arsenal but they both seem to have no end product. United fans happy with them?

Way to early to properly judge Valencia, for me it seems he lacks a bit of self belief, hopefully that will come soon.

Nani, well he is wonderful up to the 18 yard box and he either scores a wonder goal, blasts it wide, or crosses to no one. His decision making is awful, I hope it will improve but if it doesn't I can see SAF dipping into the market again for a winger.

Watch Mannone's saves. They were very average, and he tried to make them look better for the TV. There was a couple of there good saves, but the rest, if he didn't make them, I would have been really disappointed.

Just look at how much he actually stretches his arms, he pushes his arms out, towards the balls, and still can't parry at away from goal.
