Great game to start the season. 4 goals, poor challenges, poor refereeing and hilarious penalties. Only thing missing was a red card although Fergies face at the end of full time made up for that.

A red card to Evra would have been the icing on the cake. Excellent game

He seems like a decent player to have when you're trying to play it through defences but when you counter attack he's far too slow. Always holds it up and kills any advantage you have.

From what I saw of the match, I thought Berbatov was quite good.

Also, what did Ballack do wrong?
I thought both side's were very good, I'd still raise a question mark over Cech and Fosters confidence.
Berbatov looked good imo, most of the United players had a good game.
Chelsea looked good, Drogba looks very good, still unimpressed by Malouda and Kalou ?
Ballack and Deco weren't on long enough to make an impact, same could be said for Scholes, well other then putting his elbow in to Evra's face.

I disagree I think he could do well playing the likes of Nani, Valencia and Owen in this season.

chelsea always do well vs UTD... so that we took it to 2-2 is quite positive for man utd...
have we replaced ronaldo? no... but we are stilla good team without him, now we will just have to work harder to create those extra scoring chances.

Good game. Was impressed with Nani although there has to be some question marks over his consistency. Still think Chelsea will just nip it this year. I think they are capable of grinding the season and probably have the strongest central midfield in the Prem. Although I think they still need a creative player who can open up defences in the closest of games.
As for Utd, Im still not convinced we have enough strength in centre mid. If we are to go back into the market, it shouldn't be for a winger thats for sure

Hopefully the first two games against the new boys will give us some opportunities to get the strikers some confidence.
