Hmm reading this live text on BBC sunderland seem to have a big strong squad why are they struggling so much? Just another Newcastle?

If you mean big strong squad in terms of talent, they haven't.

If you mean big strong squad in terms of player size, they haven't.

As for 'another Newcastle' I don't know what that means.

Hmm fair enough. And i meant newcastle in the way that they seem to have recogniseable / big names who aren't performing to what is expected.

They were bringing on players like Cisse which seems good, but that's only because they were playing one striker. :p

They do have a big squad though, its full with Roy Keane's deals though i.e. crap.

I can't believe that Alan Mullary gets paid to give his views on matches. Pompey-Sunderland was an end of season pre-season game and that Sunderland are facing relegation because they don't have Rooney or Tevez in their side :o

edit: oh and if Newcastle, Hull and Sunderland all lose then they stay as they are in the league :D

Anyone have any ideas which game/s will be shown on Sky sunday?
I remember they had two last year and i'm hoping Hull will be on as they are down there :)

It hasn't been confirmed yet but they are showing 3 so it's pretty certain that it will be Hull, Newcastle and Sunderland.

tbh I hope the table stays as it is now, much prefer Newcastle and boro to go down and Hull and Sunderland to escape, but if its a choice between the latter, Hull (just) deserve to stay up for trying to play decent football for majority of the season

Us going down and Sunderland staying up will be the worst situation in North East football for years...

Just means all the closet Sunderland fans will come out and all Sunderland fans will be absolute douchebags having the only Prem club in the North East...

Normally the sunderland shirts go away when they are in the championship

They have had their chance in the EPL and basically done FA with it for years, why shouldnt some other team have a chance?

Ok, so see ya later Tottennham, Bolton, Man City, Everton, Portsmouth, Fulham, Wigan, Aston Villa, West Ham, Blackburn ...

They have had a fair few chances in the Premierleague and done very little, lets relegate them all

I still think Sunderland are safe tbh, as Newcastle wont beat Villa, as they still have something to play for (5th spot), and Hull won't beat Man Utd, unless they field a crap team and don't bother playing as they've already won it, but that will still leave Sunderland safe anyway, as then they'd be 4th from bottom, leaving Newcastle/Boro the other 2 to go down with West Brom.

Tottenham first for relegation on another Newcastle fans list :D

I really do hope your lot go down and stay down for a few years.

What...

Im not saying i want these teams relegated in this order..

Im stating a point of its ridiculous to say we have had our chance in the premierleague so we cant be in it anymore....
