What are the 30 year old plus gamers playing?

I'm not quite 30 but I have been going through the whole lack of motivation/time for games thing for the last few years. I haven't completed many games at all but Satellite Reign has me gripped at the moment. I think it's possibly a nostalgia thing because it really does feel like a Syndicate remake... I'd urge anyone who liked those old isometric tactical squad stealth/action games to give it a go.

I also have Doom to play through at some point.

Guys if any of you older gents are interested I made a steam group specifically for people just like us :)

Not that I have anything against younger games, it's just that they have a different set of problems than us. I have to worry about work/kids/mortgage and so on, some of the players I have gamed with on CSGO ect are moaning about studying for their GCSE's :D

40 here and trying to understand signals in OpenTTD. Getting there, VERY slowly after watching a few videos on YouTube.

I get a basic 2 station > 2 station with 4 trains. 2 tracks, each one way only like our UK roads and the trains have an option to choose what platform they go on. Once I start adding a line to elsewhere it gets all messed up.haha.

Was playing on Nostalrius to relive my youth on vanilla wow, and it was a great experience!

Now playing RTW2 DEI mod

Also tried Gloria Victus, will def give it a shot when it released

Oh yes 34 here

Never make the trains to turn in stations regardless if you use lights. Place the stations outside the "main path" also.

eg

------------------main line Left <-----
-----------------main line Right >-------

.\.(direction in)................................. / (direction out)
..\ ................................................ /
...\<-----------STATION HERE------->/ (facing this way)

And connect it with tunnels or bridges to the further mainline (eg if you have the train to the opposite side), and normal cross connection.

If for some reason you want to put the station vertically to the mainline, you need to give yourself more space to draw the connector lines.

Also always place the directional signals every 2 squares always.

I dont have a problem finding games that I like. My main problem is finding good, chill people to play with that have more to talk about than how they got wasted the night before.

Anyone aware of any communities for mature gamers that enjoy a variety of online pc games?

Reading around it seems to suggest that reaction times peak around the age of 21-24 and then you head into decline.

Yeah, I'm 35, brothers only 22. We sometimes play fifa and COD. He just mullers me day in day out.

Sometimes on COD on PS4, his mates join the party and we all play on the same side. I can hear my bro apologising to them. The best one being "Sorry about my brother, he's a lot older but I let him play because he's bored"

Makes me feel like a 2ft tall old fit for an home codger :D

Playing Inside, which is brilliant and looking forward to necropolis. The latter should be good in the group thats just been mentioned for us older types. I quit playing MP a few years ago as the young uns and their cat like reflexes were just killing me. General craic with the kids playing on MP bored me to death as well

41, ARK Survival, The Last Leviathan (too early days - dont' buy it yet), Broforce and two days ago I played Ultima Online for the first time in almost 10 years..
