What are the 30 year old plus gamers playing?

hi, sorry to interrupt, I'm disabled and can only use 1 hand, I would like to know of some good point and click games I could try, here are my current games I play

Sim City
Sims 4
City Skylines
Need for speed
Football Manager 16
euro truck simulator 2

p.s nothing that require quick reaction times

FTL: Faster Than Light. Superb game and playable entirely on mouse as long as you map the pause button onto mouse.

Do you like Monkey Island style points & click adventure games? Check out stuff made by Daedalic - they've got loads of decent stuff (and a discounted bundle on Steam: http://store.steampowered.com/sub/55062/ ). The classics are mostly now available on Steam too - Day of the Tentacle, Broken Sword etc.

For strategy games, beyond the obvious, Factorio is supposed to be great, or Banished.

And Papers Please is a great game, almost a genre of its own.

43 here. Currently playing XCOM 2, TW Warhammer, Witcher 3, Vermintide on my own.

Playing CSGO, Titanfall, World OF Tanks / Warplanes / Battleships, Orcs Must Die 2, BF4, BF Hardline with my 7 year old son.

*Edit: BF Hardline with the volume down(!)

I'm playing less on PC, just a few bouts of Overwatch or Smite currently, oh, and The Long Dark.

Waiting for Planet Coaster and the new Mass Effect.

I do more gaming on my phone now with Marvel Avengers Alliance 2 and Pokemon Go :D

36 here.

Had a period where I played AC: BF a lot but crazy busy at work this week so not picked it up since Monday.

Still have so so so many games to play I can do with a good 6 months of unemployment to get through them.

For a quick pick up game I always reach for AOE: III

No more online gaming for me. Too old and long in the tooth for that nonsense. I'm all about single player story driven games.

Funny how everything happens the wrong way round in life.

When I was younger and had little to no money, I would've killed for a decent gaming PC and money to buy games. Had to resort to pirating and compromising on frame rates and quality settings.

Now that I'm older with a lot of money to waste, I kinda don't see the value in spending 1000s on a gaming PC or buying every game under the sun.

I've long been a fan of the Tropico series of games. City building in a banana republic setting. Nice Latin music, some humour and a bit of a change from standard city-builders. You can control game speed and pause at will. Probably number four with the Modern Times DLC would be a good place to start if you're interested. I just started the fifth one and I'm not convinced it's an improvement over its predecessors.

Some RPGs with turn-based combat (like Divinity: Original Sin) might suit as well - you certainly don't need to play at a fast pace.

40 here and trying to understand signals in OpenTTD. Getting there, VERY slowly after watching a few videos on YouTube.

I get a basic 2 station > 2 station with 4 trains. 2 tracks, each one way only like our UK roads and the trains have an option to choose what platform they go on. Once I start adding a line to elsewhere it gets all messed up.haha.

Watch Master Hellish on youtube, explains it all REALLY well

I stay away from multiplayer games these days, but will play any of the other popular titles. I do find myself opting for the shorter gaming experiences these days though as I struggle to commit serious time to games like I used to.

I just bought a load of new games during the GOG sale and the Steam sale. I've recently really got into physics sandbox games so I bought Universe Sandbox2, From the Depths and The Last Leviatian.

I also picked up a few construction games like Space Engineers, Kingdoms and Offworld Trading Company which all look interesting.

Overall my taste in games has changed dramatically as I have got older. I tend to enjoy much more in-depth games these days as compared to say FPS games which most of the time I find a bit boring.

Cromulent - I'm feeling the same, also picked up The Last Leviathan and Pirates of the Polygon sea recently, both very good but neither quite grabbing me like Rimworld at the moment :D
