After stripping down the carb for cleaning I noticed that both pilot and main jet were the standard sizes (has an open filter and full Arrows system). I thought 'ZOMG' and immediately ordered 3 sizes larger for the pilot and 8 for the main. Should do the trick.
Also bought a new carb flange rubber and gasket. Old one was perished and well overdue a replacement.
Oh and took this one the first day it was road legal. It's getting there.

Today I started to replace my gutted stock pipes with a set of stock ones.
Noise was just too much for my old ears.
What ever happened to the days when a pipe was just a tube? These things have cats, sensors and a solenoid controlled valve........

I don't mind the rim tape, but I have to agree, the big HONDA stickers on the wheels don't really suit it IMO.
And those blue lights, you're going to be hated by every biker out there when you're riding up behind them

Nothing but I bought these over the last week or so. If the weather is kind to me this weekend I shall be busy.

I couldn't ride a sports bike without braided hoses. Both the 748 and 1098 come standard with them. But all other bikes I have owned, I have had to upgrade. Awsome upgrade

Got some new rubber today, decided to give the PR3's a try and just in time looking at the forecast!

Very easy. Buy the correct lengths or kit for your bike then it's just a case of removing the old hoses and installing the new ones then bleeding the system.

Personally I'm only worried about the bleeding part. Being a pessimist I fully expect to screw up everything I do and am usually surprised when I don't. Of course the first ride out after changing and bleeding them might be fun if they fail cause I screwed something up.
