What did you do to your bike today?

Rode it like I stole it, Same old same old. :p

Lubed the chain when I got back whilst it was warm, None of that paraffin malarkey though I just use a folded newspaper to shield everything else then lube the chain turn a bit lube etc It's greasier than a whores **** I know that. :D

Rolled mine out the Mille from hibernation, its been laid up since about July. Fired up first time and the Renegades rattled the windows, sent cats running and started dogs barking as it warmed up. Washed and polished it and then put it back on the paddock stands again. Not got time to ride it at the moment and it's still not MoT'd. Hopefully fix that later this month.

Did the oil and oil filter today and have a long list of things to do...

Spark plugs
Clean and lube chain
Need new indicators
Fit new number plate
Adjust suspension
Lube throttle cable
Drill New Renthal bars
Get new brake lines
Remove old tank pad and replace...

and there will be more I am sure lol

Washed and polished. Also applied orange "Oooshh" stickers :-)

Bought some new kevlar jeans, then a waterproof tax disc holdermoff ebay for £2.49, bargain!

Not today, but on thursday got the exhaust de-rusted and protected - wire brush then wool, coating of kurust and a couple of coats of BBQ paint. Looks pretty now (sorry don't have a photo!). Now I just have to get some autoglym on the shocks and the heated grips working for winter.

got her back on the road yesterday looks and rides like new which considering the state of it 2 months ago you wouldn't guess they are the same bike!

Great looking bike. More comfortable than the 'blade, but that was to be expected ;) After an hour in the saddle my ass was getting a bit sore though. Maybe I'm just used to the comfort of my gel seat :p

Brakes were pretty much the same as on the Speedy. Front end felt lighter though, and I felt like I was sitting a bit further forward. That's likely just due to the dash/lights being mounted slightly lower on the CB though. Acceleration and handling was good. I definately got the feeling the wind didn't want me sat on top of the bike at higher speeds ;) :D Smooth easy gear box too. All round nice and solid, as Hondas normally are :)

All in all a good bike. Doesn't top the Speedy though (other than maybe the gearbox) so I'll be sticking with that for now, at least until I've tried a Z1000 later in the week :p
