Had a right old time with the mistress this weekend....
The battery died on Thursday so I swapped it out, which must have move some of the wires in the loom. Next day was strangely fine until the evening where the alarm kept going off. Found it was ok in service mode so left it for a bit.
Come Sunday find I can't turn the alarm off at all. End up taking the whole back end off it and going through all the wires etc. Eventually found that two of the alarm wires had moved and then got pinched by the seat, which then blew a fuse stopping the key fob being read.
At least shes up and running again now and it didn't cost me a packet to get it looked at

theyve dropped of a gsx650f.
it looks nice gear indicator etc, but holy **** the seating position is weird, and the gear lever is too close cant fit my damn boot under it.
spoke to the guy about my holiday plans though and he goes "phone up the office and tell them and we can probably drop off a bandit 1250 with a full set of top box and panniers but itll be naked.

thing is most of the parts you see out of carbon just use basic cross weave ie not taking advantage of the carbon fibre at all it is like you say purely the look.
Put my seat cowl on and went for a lovely ride along the Norfolk Coast, stopping off at Wells for a drink by the Sea
Got it covered in bugs and just rinsed them off with RO water, the Swissvax Opaque stuff worked brilliantly.

Hah true, but I did ride out to the Beach Cafe and then walked up so I could see the Sea
I live between Norwich and Cromer so ride/drive around the coastal roads quite a bit, just hand't stopped in Wells for a while. Some really nice roads and places to stop all around the East Anglia Coast as long as you avoid Great Yarmouth
Going to be a tough week deciding what to take out and where to go for some cool Sea breeze!

Fresh oil and filter, now to take it for a nice ride.
Blew my main fuse and USB charger while replacing the battery, lesson for the future don't get distracted by someone at the door so you wire it up back to front 
Also just ordered a lower seat for my SV should make it a bit more comfortable for my little midget legs without messing with the suspension set up.

well ill get more money for the zx10r,its too thirsty for me or id keep it,maybe a zx6r 2013 further down the line idk
its not bad,few stone chips,i repainted the calipers not long ago they were flaking bad
