What did you do to your bike today?

I don't mind if it is just normal rain but the roads are flooded and there is standing water everywhere.

Luckily I can just drive my car when the weather is like this :p

Well I dont blame you tbh,esp being a new machine and wanting to take care of it,aslong as your steady youll be fine though, you'll feel the rear tyre spin up if your too aggressive

Those lithium ion batteries are good aswell

Yeah if I had a bike like that the only water it would see would when it was being washed!

After the torrential rain yesterday (was fun dodging huge puddles on the way home) my bike was covered in crap, not a time to be taking out a clean panigale.

When for a spin with a friend. Went from Southampton to Salisbury to Shaftesbury. Great scenery and roads, completely lost track of time

Why cant you ride it in the rain?

I'm ill and I've a fever, I don't want to get any worse than already am. I did ride the bike to work today though, I finished around 2 hours ago. So many people in town, drunk people. Police followed me and some chavs on peds tried to race me, they got pulled over. :p

Lucky u stuck your L plate back on then

Yeah, :p

BTW I'm still not sure how stupid or unaware you must be, to try and race someone when a police car has been following you for some time?

I was in full gear, they were in sports wear with just the helmet being their only protection. The police didn't think I was with them, thank god for that! :)

Adjusted my chain today for the first time. Can't believe how easy it is on a single swing arm. Loosen a bolt, rotate the eccentric adjuster thing (I think that's what they call it), tighten bolt back to 55nm. No lining up, no starting again if you get it wrong.

Not sure how I'll ever get a bike with 2 swingarms now. This Speed is so easy to maintain :D

Wheel removal is stupidly easy too if it's the same as on a ducati, no messing around with chain tension, just whip the nut off and slide off the wheel.

Not had to do that yet, but yeah good point, it should be nice and easy! Even if I did have to take the chain off, it takes 2 seconds to adjust anyway. I want to stick some Angels on for this winter so will need to do that soon :)

On Friday i rode my bike from the old house to the new after locking up and collecting the new key. It was raining so damn much, the A1 was horrible. Why am i posting this here?
Because the Pilot Road 4's have given me more confidence in wet riding than I've ever had. Love them. [/Michelin Marketing]
