I doubt its your stator on such a new bike,battery IMO
It was doing that before it died, but that's because the fuel pump and other components within the engine rely on electricity.

I have a local garage which only specialises in bikes, they're cheap and good. That's where I'll get my tyres changed, so will ask him if he could check the stator just to be sure. I don't want to be stuck further from my house than I already was, today we had planned to go to Portsmouth which is around 120 miles from my place, now imagine being stuck down there. So I guess from that bad luck there was some good luck, but why it didn't died when I was riding around town idk...

How many of you bikers use Motobatt battery? GEL battery should last longer than acid? 1 year warranty should be enough before changing the bike anyway, I really like the ER6F
