What did you do to your bike today?

Tracker, garage, huge fence, Almax big ******* chain, and a couple of dobermans tied to the bike. By their balls.

might make it tricky to get the bike out in the morning, but good luck stealing it!! :D

Tell me about it...

I live in London and I don't park my 650 on the street, I park it in a car park with almax chain - chained to a pillar, good disk lock, an extra chain, alarm and full cover.
So far looks like nobody even tried to remove the cover, as it is always the same way I left.
Using a cover looks like to be a good protection, because you don't "advertise" your bike to the thieves.

5 bikes got stolen from the motorcycle bay last month where I park my scooter, so no way that I will park the other bike there, when I wanna go for a ride, I need to ride to the car park with my scooter and swap them... that is London for you.

At least is not as bad as it was in Sao Paulo - Brazil, where I had a bike and I was scared even to stop at the traffic lights.

When I was at the track event last week almost everyone who had pumps had some kind of high end looking tower bicycle pump and not a normal garage footpump like most of us.

May be worth looking into one of those.

That's what I use, a bicycle track pump. Topeak Joe Blow to be precise. Works well and has a (pretty accurate) built in pressure gauge, so you can see the pressure as you're pumping.

Going to get one of those then, had to fix my Machine Mart one the other day as one of the cylinders came off the frame and now it is a bit wonky!

I woke up this morning with the intention of taking my bike, then when I looked outside and it was frozen and 2'c, I thought **** that and jumped in the car :p

3c this morning...Brrrrrr!
Glad i found my winter gloves :p

Had to break out my heated gloves this morning, also had a complete brain fart sat at some lights that had just gone green and totally forgot which side my gear change was on :o

Couldn't wait and booked to go back to Spain with track sense, Valencia this time on March 1st!

Can't wait to get back on track in the sun :D

I parked my brand new scooter on my road for 5 months without issue or security, but the moment I bought my Kawasaki ER6F, which had a similar value, it was only there for 7 days before it was stolen. I'm not sure any thieves are interested in my NC700 though, I often have to park it in the street but it has a minimum of 2 alarmed disc locks on it now. If not a cover and a 16mm Squire chain and 14 mm Oxford chain.

Anyone know of any good places that do custom/tailored leathers?

Wouldn't mind a 2 piece suit at some point next year but there's no way I'll fit in anything off the peg. Unless anyone knows of a manufacturer that specialises in kit for barrel chested dwarfs with a J Lo arse.
