What did you do to your bike today?

HD's get treated no differently here. It's just the "adventure" riders that seem to get hate in this country, but that's because they are generally stuck up and never salute.

Depends on the model of bike, some r&g crash bungs require you to cut or drill the fairing to fit them some are a straight fit

I think you might have asked me this in another thread and I don't think I answered.

Lucy came with the crash bungs already but I can see that she's had her fairings drilled to have them fitted.

By salute do you mean the little sideways nod riders do to each other? I've informed about biker etiquette already :D

though I hear motorcycle riders do not nod to scooter/moped riders.

On the continent they actually salute/wave as they're on the other side of the road so their clutch hand is free but yeah over here we usually nod but some wave.

No, in Europe it's a two finger salute pointing to the side/floor. You have to do it even if you're knee down in the hairpins around here, they're mad!

I nod to all except dominos delivery scooters.. because they are a-h*les.

I always nod to learners, they appreciate it more ;) and scooters cuz there are some hotties around here

Yes delivery scooters normally have me shouting at them :D

I will nod to bike learners, but I don't condone scooter nodding as they have clearly made the wrong choice ;)

Got a puncture in the rear :( nursed her wobbly butt back home last night in the wet which was fun. It really couldnt of happened at a worse time of the year.. i literally cannot finance a pilot road 4. Anyone have any experience with Maxxis or any of the other 'budget' brands.

Have you tried to find where the puncture is? The tyre can be repaired if it's not too close to the wall

What can you afford so we can give you some suggestions? Have you checked out the other popular tyres like Pirelli Angel GT on oponeo or tyreleader?

Maxxis are crap budget brand

Looked for some part worn better branded tyres? I've picked up a few bargains with lots of tread left

And yeah see if it can be plugged/repaired first

Maxxis are decent, I have ridden on the Diamonds on the old mans GS and the Sports tyres, only ever in dry conditions mind and they were good, I would say on par with any of the Dunlop tyres I have used.
The diamonds look good too but they are more of a sports touring tyre.

I am surprised with the amount of cost saving Wazza does he doesn't run ditchfinders as it is :P
Specially as recommending part worns over tyres that get plenty of decent reviews, not that I have anything against part worns but I only run them from people I know, I don't trust people on ebay, the tyres could have been left out in the garden for two years.

They used to be poor when they first came out,not sure today though, you might as well put the extra and get a decent tyre but up to the op

I wouldn't buy one myself

The tyre was due replacing as its nearvthe wear markers but that was the plan for feb/march payday. Im just going to have to stump up 100 spondoolies somehow. Such a pain in my life. Part worns are good for passing an MOT but you will almost always end up with a squared off tyre or a tyre someone has used on different type bike with a different riding style.
