What did you do to your bike today?

Sure I have had crashes, most of them unavaoidable, but just dropping it.... 10 years of riding last year and guess what I did.... the stupidest thing you can do, think the stand is down when its not... oh the shame, on camera too, no you cant see :p

Heh! The hand expression says it all!

I'll tell you what though, that angle is very flattering to the GSXR. I have that as my 2nd choice bike to the R6, though probably a K4 for my budget. But on the side it looks really good :D

Was that the bike you went Viral for your smidsy?

I like to think she spends her time at that angle most of the time on track, but not quite crashing....
K4 600 or 750? I had the K4 750 before this, epic bike!
Yep this is the bike rebuilt.

LMAO gotta say that is pretty special of you. :p

Ha thanks! This happened back in October, its taken this long to tell anyone else... apart from my mate in the pic, who's bike I dropped on slightly.... oops

Must be those metzler tyres slipping out from you haha

Iv had my bike pushed over in a car park if that counts as dropping.

Haha cant even blame those here, was plenty warm enough, just not paying attention, boring ride up the A34, was still half asleep from it.

Thats awful

She's a beauty!

A 600! I think a 600 supersports is probably pushing it for a first bike let alone a 750. I'm a weakling too so I expect it'll be a lot heaver.

So many forums I read said your guaranteed to drop your bike which has given me this massive paranoia that I'm going to wreck whatever I sit on.

Never dropped my 2 bikes, as long as you are standing on the left side with the kick stand, it's easy enough.

You'll struggle more if you can't touch the floor.

I dropped mine not long after buying it,it was in neutral and fell off the stand:(

once you drop, you just cant stop:D,and anyway it can all be fixed up

the worst culprits for me is forgetting the front disclock is still on and pulling away only to be greeted with a sudden jolt and over it goes or putting your foot down on loose gravelly surface and slipping

Bought my dream bike almost 4 years ago now, she's been written off once, she's high sided me on icy roads about 2 years ago, I've dropped her once stationary, she's been repaired and still my dream bike, even if I get another I wont be getting rid of it.

If there was a thumbs up smiley, i would be using right now.. so use your imagination :p

Fitted some Oxford Rainseal Handlebar Muffs. It was very cold on the way to work this evening and the heated grips alone just about worked but tomorrow morning's ride home will be worse, luckily these were delivered just before I left so hopefully my hands will be OK on the way home, just gotta watch that they don't engage the brake or clutch at speed.

Muffs are bloody brilliant. They take a little getting used to, but even this morning and tonight when it was damn cold my heated grips were almost getting too hot :D They barely work without the muffs on.

Yeah I hope I've made the right decision with these ones. I had planned on getting the Tucano Urbano ones that fit the NC700 integra and thus all NC bikes but I don't like the way they're more like large gloves than pouches for your hand. From what I understand the Tucano ones are used without gloves or with less bulky summer ones.

I have the tucano urbano ones, if you're using them with winter gloves you're doing it wrong ;)

Motorbike accident this afternoon in Maidstone not a mile from my house, looks like the guy didn't make it :( I do sometimes wonder about the cause of these accidents, it's almost certainly going to be a smidsy, car pulling out as there's loads of little entrances on that road, but it's a 30 limit ffs - I've slid down the road while doing 15-20mph and not had a scratch, makes you wonder how much of it was down to the biker. After all, we have to take ownership for our own safety and not rely on others.

Very sad (he was a young guy, 20), but you can't think too much about these things.

At the end of the day you can come off at 100mph and be absolutely fine as long as you don't hit anything a lot of how we can walk away from an accident is pure luck.

Do you mean with any Muffs or just the Tucano ones?

Looking at motorcycle accidents on Youtube and the way people ride generally while car drivers don't look I can't deny the motorcyclists speed, so they cause the accident but I suppose we're often responsible for the severity.
