What did you do to your bike today?

Oh don't you have standard ones aswell? I forgot

Edit: not sure but I think I read something about if they are fitted they should be working,if not you can use hand signals and should pass mot without them

I thought you technically needed something like 10cm (or was it 20cm maybe) between the two indicators?

Looking good Kreeee :)

You do need to get non-bar end mirrors though :p (saying that, they are way better than stock anyway).

Nah, the ones that attach to the stock mounting points all look really stupid on naked bikes. It makes the Triumphs look like some daft insect!

I can't filter here anyway so the extra width is not an issue.

Something like the Rizoma Elisse look amazing... they do on mine anyway.

Most of them do look a little retarded, not the Rizomas though :D

I think if stock indicators arnt fitted it will still pass mot as you can use hand signals,it's only if they are fitted they should be in working order

Washed her for the first time this year, dried and waxed, just as i was buffing it rained.. this is why i don't bother washing bikes. ACF-50'd her and admired my handy work whilst she got soaked.

On the commute in today I was filtering (5ish mph), braked, and the back of my bike swung out. Was more of an embarrassing moment. I got my feet down so the bike didn't drop.

When I got to work, there was a greasey ring all around the center of the tyre. I'm guessing it was diesel. I just checked it again and the tyre looks dry now (do they absorb this stuff?)

Looking back at the footage from my cam, it doesn't look half as bad as it seemed at the time :D

stripped front and back brake calipers last night

ready to fit new seals and braided hoses in next few days

then that's it for any maintenance ! time to enjoy riding the bike :)

Sounds like that was just water on your tyre & you just went over something on the road to make you slip.

Didn't happen to be near the white lines at the time did you?

Checking the footage, my back tyre was just on the end of a white line as I moved back in. I didn't realise the lines could be so slippy(!)

Absolutely lethal if you're not careful especially if they're relatively new and therefore well proud of the road surface and extra shiny.

I'd been lazy on miny roundabouts, and just riding over some of them which take up nearly all of the junction - I'll rethink doing that from now on :p

Did they not teach you that on your lesson? It was drilled in on my CBT and I'm very glad they did as the painted surfaces and drain covers are lethal in the wet.
