What did you do to your bike today?

Going to be replacing my rear disc at the end of the week, 5 bolt disc needs tightening in a criss cross pattern.
Now if it was a 6 bolt this would not be melting my mind quite so much, how do you tighten an uneven number of bolts in a criss cross fashion!?

Yes, I am having a proper derp moment this morning.

Everyone loves a picture, cheers mate.
Trying to figure out whether it's my SQL or someone else's duff data messing up my life had fried my brain.

Did they not teach you that on your lesson? It was drilled in on my CBT and I'm very glad they did as the painted surfaces and drain covers are lethal in the wet.

Yep, but some of them around Birmingham take up pretty much all of the (very small) junction, so to not touch the paint when turning right, you have to take a very slow ride around the edge of it with some tight turning.

For eg:

At rush hour here you get cars all in the junction not giving way, so you either have to stop on the roundabout, or ride across the white bits.

It's your choice at the end of the day but believe me even a slow speed off stings both you and your wallet usually!

I know, I used to live there ;)

I thought you technically needed something like 10cm (or was it 20cm maybe) between the two indicators?

Looking good Kreeee :)

You do need to get non-bar end mirrors though :p (saying that, they are way better than stock anyway).

Nah, the ones that attach to the stock mounting points all look really stupid on naked bikes. It makes the Triumphs look like some daft insect!

I can't filter here anyway so the extra width is not an issue.

Dunno why anyone bothers with mirrors any more- they're so last century! Best motorcycle product I've ever bought:

Finally getting my S1000RR back from BMW today after it was nicked. Can. Not. wait.

Integrated rear view.

It's can be a distraction for some, and quite expensive.

£250- I guess "expensive" is relative. It's definitely a £250 lid in terms of quality, way better than the last £300 Arai I owned (which literally fell to bits).

Never found it a distraction. Much safer that having to look away from the road at a mirror anyway, just a flick of the eye, and no blind spots. Took me about 30 minutes to learn how to use it properly. Now I wouldn't ride without it.

Fancy, didn't even know they existed.

Edit: Also stop showing me more things I can spend money on :p

How well does it work if someone is behind you with high-beams? In a car you can dip the rear-view mirror, surely you'd just be blinded and unable to angle it away on the bike? That said, I do like the concept.
