What did you do to your bike today?

N5 <3 :D

I fitted the delkevic exhaust, should have cut 55mm to have the mount more to the middle. But oh well...

It looked like it was about to rain and it did as soon, as I tested the bike with the exhaust. So a comparison video will have to be made another time, it was recorded with Samsung S6.

Look around the ignition area underneath,on the headstock you should see a hole either side where the steering lock pin goes into,it might have bent the bars a bit or loosened the ignition barrel assembly, that's all I can think of

You can straighten out your lever with some heat and a ring spanner threaded through and gently pull it into place

Today i decided to go sliding across the road on my arse with it:(

Haven't been able to properly check the damage but the gear linkage has snapped off, the lever has somehow managed to survive though and the clutch lever was bent under the grip and has taken a chunk out of it.

Luckily it happened close to work though so was able to store it there and get a lift home.

The thing that is worrying me at the moment though is that the steering lock was difficult to engage, is it possible that i have bent something?

Also is it wrong that i was more worried about my helmet rather than myself or the bike?:D
If it slid down the road you might not have bent anything but the forks might have gotten mis-aligned, that's what happened to me. All the force on one end of the bar twists the forks in the clamps, you'll soon see if you try and ride and bars are an an angle when you're riding straight. To fix it, loosen off the lower triple clamps and the fork axle and pump the forks from above a few time with a decent heft, like this

Dropped the YZ forks in to get revalved, spring changed and fork seals replaced so it doesn't pour fluid all over the garage anymore. Going riding on Sunday and transporting in the new truck.. excited!

Had a proper look at it today and the wheel is pointing to the right slightly when the bars are straight so hopefully it's just the forks out of alignment.

The steering lock only engages if I straighten the bars a bit as the pins and holes don't line up with the bars in there resting position.

Yeah that's roads :) sheep mountain road can be deadly but if clear it has to rank up there with the best.

Rhigos road is another i love, some great corner especially as you head down over into treherbert, lovely S bend.

Final parts of the ultimate RAM mount setup arrived :D

Instantly removable, no nastyness left behind. Holds any phone. Also holds my iPhone which is waterproofed inside an UltimateAddons case.

Can even rotate it, have it to the side, etc.

Only problem is I'm now tempted to get the Galaxy S7 edge as it's waterproof out the box :p

I've got the same setup on my bike fella, the ultimate addon's stuff is ace. I've got an adaptor so can put the HTC M8 (with case if it's raining) but can also put my Galaxy S7 Edge as well and not have to worry about rain like you say!!! Superb stuff.

Normally I have my Nexus 7 for my sat nav when doing tours attached to it... 7" man inches is nice to read...clear as!!! Blue tooth the sounds to lid and all in, a great setup! Can go to 10" tablet on the bracket I have as well... here's a picture just with a normal 7" satnav...

Has that 10" tablet bracket you have there got a 1" RAM ball then? Looks good :)

The ToughClaws are awesome. Also got a RAM mount for my DBPOWER camera (GoPro mounts) so can just clamp the ToughClaw almost anywhere on my bike for filming
