Not great quality, not my phone... it was recorded with S6. This is really bright, its a massive improvement over halogen. I'm not entirely sure how these compare to HID's though.

Taking advantage of the weather to do some lunchtime riding, I lost all rear grip on a bend. I managed to save it :D There was a manhole cover mid bend, I thought I'd just missed it, but my back tyre must have hit it and skidded out: https://youtu.be/07Mf2DTb2ig?t=5

Tbh, I thought that such covers would be OK in dry conditions - I won't be making that mistake again :p

I've had the back wheel come out at about 20mph in a bend on loose stones in the road, and put my leg out in reaction but the bike just sort of wiggled its way through. Wouldn't want that to happen any faster I bricked it enough that time!

Just toying with the idea of upgrading my forks. I can get some harder springs and there are things called emulators which make the apparently awful SV suspension a bit like sports bike forks.

Would I be right in saying that I could take the forks off, change the springs and oil, then at a later date add emulators without having to take the forks off the bike again, since they just go on top of everything?

Having done a lot of off roading, my instinct when the rear steps out or the front slides is to always put a foot down without thinking. Not a good idea on the road... radial fractures hurt.

Replaced my rear left indicator. Had about 4 LEDs out of about 15 in there due to the old cap coming off at some point and getting wet inside.

Also cleaned all the cables etc. in there as they were pretty dirty after 5k miles - there's only a piece of plastic covering the cabling so was pretty muddy!
