What did you do to your bike today?

Put the carbs back on, then took them straight back off again because ide forgotten to tighten one of the throttle cables on the carb body, then finally went out for a damn good blat about in the sun, which was utter bliss.

She's been around bikes with her family but ummm.... Harleys.....
But now she's gone from having her first ever pillion ride on a sportsbike to booking her CBT and buying a 125 in a week!
 
Sold it and watched someone else ride away on it :(

New arrival at home forced the sale.

Looking at downsizing to a 600 rather than the ZX10R. Viewing an 05 ZX6R tonight.
 
Fitted a new chain which has made untold difference if anybody is wondering whether to change there worn chain. Mine had tight spots which I s'pose was effecting how smooth it was as with the new chain on it's like a different bike it really is. :cool:
 
I never felt any massive love for my YBR but when I was pottering about fixing bits up on it the other day I did feel like I'll be a little sad when it goes and not just because someone will be getting it in a half decent condition compared to how I received it :D

I changed the indicators for the 3rd time, these are really good. Very bright and are angled so they're easier seen from a side. :)

Fitted new exhaust on the grom, it sounds very BRAPPY lol love it, measured in at 122db though, so ear plugs from now on

Back with the new plugs & air filter now so once they're fitted it'll be as good as it will ever be. I'm going to give the carbs a bit of a blow out/clean with some aerosol carb cleaner I have whilst I have some sort of access when the filter is out the way. Can't think of owt else to do after this so I s'pose it'll go & blow up now. :p
 
Police called to say that the YZ125 that was stolen from my garage back in March has been found! Some doofus was riding it on the street and tried to run, he's getting charged with several felonies and I'm getting my bike back :D

Fully expected to never see it again, we'll see what state it's in... he couldn't do much worse than me when I crash offroading :D
