What did you do to your bike today?

One of those ones from the outside? Can i just use the normal car ones I can pick up at Halfords? That'd mean I can at least relax, get the tyre ordered cheap online and change it another time.

Yeah use one of the plug strips that you push in from the outside, if the hole is central a garage might be able to plug it, they'll take off the tyre and put in a mushroom plug from the inside.

The only tyre place round here that I trust not to mess up my rims don't repair over certain speed rating :(

Plug from the outside sounds like a plan though. I'll just have to take it easy until I get a new tyre on, or risk it and keep going :p

Ok, repair kit ordered, thanks for the suggestion acemastr, at least it means I can buy a much cheaper tyre online (£50 cheaper) and have a bit more time to get it sorted. The tyre is done anyway, it had a slow leak before and now this big one, so I don't really trust it anymore.

Gone for Angels again. If I get more punctures though, I'm never getting Angels again, even if it is just me being unlucky.

Dropped it through stupidity. I managed to slow it's fall so only the nearside front indicator was damaged beyond repair and the gear lever was bent inwards a little. Fortunately I had bought some Evotech folding levers recently so the clutch lever did it's thing and is fine.

Fortunately an Aprilia Tuono indicator is virtually identical, and we have them at work, so that was an easy fix and i canot tell the difference. The slightly bent gear lever was also fixed

Attempted to fit a new Hyperpro rear spring to the Capo. Dropped the rear linkage out and was treated to the lovely tinkling sound of all the bearings dropping out, the seals having long since perished, and the link itself is pretty well mullered. £230 down and off the road for another two weeks at least, just to get the parts in :(

Oiled the chain. Now I need to do something about the rear shock, every bump feels like I've fallen into a 5ft hole, so uncomfortable at the moment, I've read you can use the shock from a cbr600, is that only for newer models?

Replaced the indicators today. The front were easy but the rear was a pain in the ass, whoever fitted the tail tidy did a crap job of wiring the number plate light so i had to rewire it as it had all started to corrode.

I went to replace the bulb in my tail tidy plate light a few months ago and the wire from the connection to the loom to the bulb had literally disintegrated! That would explain why it didn't work. Just ripped the lot out as it's not needed for an MOT.

Spent 2 & a half hours sat in the sun fitting a new chain & sprocket kit, it's so smooooth & quiet now, just got to change the oil, + oil & air filter & I'm done tho I think i'll leave that till tomorrow as it's hot out there and I really fancy going for a wander on me bike.

Today I plugged my puncture with this. Really impressed with the kit, very easy to use. I've only done about 6-7 miles on the plug so far, but it seems fine. New rear Angel GT should arrive this week.

Definitely something I'd carry on a longer trip. My puncture yesterday could have easily happened further away and completely messed up my day.
