What did you do to your bike today?

Tighten up the chain, going for a test ride. I spent a lot of time trying to precisely align the wheel. I need to check it at higher speed. At low speeds it seems fine. Hopefully the rear wheel won't come off haha :p

This arrived. Hope the weather is good this weekend!

I don't envy that job! I changed the oil the other night in the hope it would solve my oil pressure issue, alas no dice. Next step is to look at the oil seals and oil pump and give it a clean. If it's not the seals/pump then it's the big end bearing and that's a big job. Bike will be out of action for months :(

That big pile of mess will really suit your bike! :p ;)

Is it a bad sign that I went through that loom and knew what 75% of the connectors were for? :D

Slowly replacing every part on the bike it seems. Not sure if it will be a really bad job as the loom runs down one side of the bike. It's all panels off and tank and maybe the air box.

TBH I just want her working properly again

Flushed and changed the coolant in the GayTM, it boiled over too easily last week, Engine Ice should help that. If not I'll have to get the fan accessory at $180.

The quality of everything on a KTM is insanely good, it just runs a bit warm

Unless you're building a custom or race bike I don't see why that would be weird. 'Weight reduction bro' :p

It would probbaly end up being a weight gain :p

But be really trick with several £k worth of ..errrr... "scrapped" aircraft metal circular connectors instead of the plastic **** :p

Got a nice list of jobs to do tomorrow while the weather is crap:

clean CB400 front brakes, getting a bit sloppy again
Move the Tuono forks up the clamps a couple of rings
Mount the rest of the kreiga straps under the seat for bags (already got 2 mounted, dead easy).
Trip to halfords to pick up a relay and some wire so I can power stuff
Check and probably remove some oil from the Tuono, I think it's got a little bit too much in there at the moment.

lol, now that is weird. :p

I've found recently that assuming the opposite of whatever they predict is true is the best way to know what the weathers going to be like to be honest.
For me the weather forecast is pretty accurate most of the time.

It's been so far off the mark round here recently that it's getting silly now, I no longer look forward to a nice dry ride to/from work because I know the weatherman has probably lied to me :(

I got soaked in thunderstorm last night :/ Despite the large amounts of water on the roads which was at times a bit worrying, I quite enjoyed getting completely soaked :D

Once you make peace with the fact you're wet and it's done I find it quite enjoyable as well, it's when you're sat inside nice and dry and you can see it's peeing down and you know you've got that initial shock to come that it sucks.
