What did you do to your bike today?

It's been so far off the mark round here recently that it's getting silly now, I no longer look forward to a nice dry ride to/from work because I know the weatherman has probably lied to me :(

If the weather forecast was presented by weather presenter like this, I wouldn't miss a single one. :D :p

I wouldn't be mad on her even if the forecast was incorrect. :)

Got a new clamp today to try and refit this exhaust and got some exhaust paste too.

When I spoke to the fella at the bike parts shop he said it's normal for it to blow slightly, after a run it would seal it self up. I should have left it to be honest but live and learn.

Had a good run on it yesterday and it seems spot on, I love it :D

Someone looking tomorrow at the sv so hopefully sold tomorrow

lol, now that is weird. :p

For me the weather forecast is pretty accurate most of the time.

Well everyone always hides looms i think rightly done on a cafe racer/street fighter build they could be a feature peice.

Plus aircraft style connectors are sooo much nicer to work with than the plastic ones

Fitted the kriega straps under the pillion seat, and tested the US30 on the back

Loads of room, like it was made for it! :D Thanks to a large pillion seat it doesn't touch the bodywork either.

And adjusted the forks in the clamps, 3 rings showing as per the 'road' settings in the handbook

It was set at 1 ring showing before, this should sharpen up the steering a little.

Replaced the loom. I was dreading it as I was expecting something to come up and mess my efforts up (as this normally happens!)

Didnt take long to get everything off as I'm well practiced at it now.

This was just as I was about to attack the middle bit. The hardest part was getting the connectors between the engine and the frame

Indicators now work no matter the revs! and the speedo works again. Expected it to take longer than 4 hours. The neutral light was working.....but I can live without that for now :D
