Dying to test the new Rekluse, saw a specialist about my knee, turns out losing the rear and stabbing your foot down can sprain a ligament.. even at 10mph. Feeling better now though.. dyyyyiiingggg to ride.

I hit the road with my foot 15-20mph in a corner, the crap from the trees and damp made my front slip. I saved myself, but the pain in the leg for a week was horrible, was all good after a week though. :)

Tried my best to tune the Rekluse, it'll let me stop and start in gear with no clutch but it creeps in 1st ever so slightly, emailed Rekluse who apparently are quite good at customer service.

Also put a lithium battery in the R6, the stock one lasted 2 years but keeps letting me down, it's never started so quickly now! Must way a quarter of the original too.

Had a quick run out on the VFR.

The front end felt slightly weird at one point, was leant right over to the left at about 40mph - felt perfect and planted. Leaned few degrees more and it felt as if the front was starting to slip. Tyres were warm, and I was nowhere near the edge of the tyre? The front tyre is only a few hundred miles old though so that far over hasn't been scrubbed in yet, maybe that was it.

True!! I bought some bar end mirrors in the past from China  The paint started flaking off and they would loosen and flap about :p
Tbh my Ryde mirrors have taken some battering, survived 2 crashes and apart from a few scratches they haven't moved even a bit. Survived the time when I was learning wheelies and was hammering the front down, like I was hitting nails with a hammer. But 3rd crash they didin't survive, I'm not suprised it was above 50mph. :p

The smoked tail light looked so good tho...

You found some good quality ones then... I think mine came loose because of the Vibrations from the handlebars, I found the street triples handlebars did have a lot of vibrating going on...

Wish I could wheelie :(

Sorry to hear about the accident, I'm guessing there was a bit of damage coming off at over 50mph

Barely any, it wasn't long ago... I posted pictures if you look through 'bikers cafe chatoorm' you'll find it.

One wasn't really a crash, a car hit my bike whilst it was parked. 2nd time my front brakes seized up and had to put it down to avoid a car. 3rd was diesel spill which I tried to swerve round, but it was all over the road. :(

After successfully replacing my front tyre, I realised I had no wheel weight for balancing. I also realised my vice wasn't big enough to break the bead on my rear tyre and also due to the shape of the hub I had no chance of balancing it, oh and no wheel weight either. Not to mention it took a good few hours of man handling the front to get the rubber off and the new rubber on.

Took both of them down my local bike shop and got the rear changed and the front balanced. £25 in total so I think I saved myself about £20 although I'm not sure the amount of saving was worth the hassle...

Bloody hell mate some bad luck for you there... Diesel spillages are so dangerous on two wheels, They always seems to be on the ideal line on bends abit like metal drain covers on the roads... I will have a look through that thread to find your posts

They're scrubbed in after 50 miles. Releasing agents aren't used any more and they just need a heat cycle or two.

Bled the KTM clutch, if I ever have to mess with brake fluid again I'll end up drinking it to put me out of my misery...

Auto clutch is now functioning as it should, wheelies for days from a stand still :D

^ That's pretty, bet it's loud with those tips.

Started mine up for the first time since early December today with the new battery. Can't wait to get out on it after service and MOT on Tuesday! It's been painful having it sat there for so long but working away a lot meant it was sat unloved Dec to Feb, then the MOT ran out and a combination of a new car in March and a big holiday in April meant it didn't make sense to sort it until I was back. Back now though. :D

Put my new stainless caliper slider pins in the back (one of the old ones was starting to strip).

Also fully bled the front, including ABS bleed with TuneECU. Hopefully that fixes my front brake issue where the first pull will be spongy after sitting overnight. Got a feeling it won't :( so next step would be new seals.
