What did you do to your bike today?

Chain arrived today:

Almax series 3 1.5M

Adjusted the chain and clutch on the SV and tried to see what's rubbing the front disc on the ybr it looks like it might just be due to the brand new pads. Hopefully it won't fail the MOT due to it being something more sinister.

Thanks guy's.
Im surprisingly fine considering i slid into a kerb hard enough for it to launch me into a hedge
I was expecting lots of pain when i saw the kerb aproaching but got nothing.

Don't really know how it happened but i lowsided on a corner, the bike just went down so fast i couldn't react.

I was properly gutted when i saw the exhaust though.

I did think low side when I saw the damage was all down one side... Glad you didnt come off to bad mate... The worst of the damage is definitely the Exhaust... other parts relatively cheap... are you part of the Street triple UK forum.. they are a great bunch and always willing to help out

I was thinking that's any easy fix, until I got to the rear plastics and the exhuast! :(

Time for an upgrade then!! :D
I was exactly the same. Sat here going "well you got off pretty lightly ther...oh yeah maybe not :("

Still none of it is unrideable needs to be fixed now damage I suppose and more importantly you came out ok although I bet you'll stiffen up a lot tomorrow.

Damn, at least you are okay mate. :)

The plastics are an easy fix, as are the levers and mirror etc... That exhaust looks bad though. :(
But, at least it is still rideable, and you are ok!

Can you not fit a tail pack? Sod 20kg on my back anytime I want to go for a ride!

Yeah I'm considering a "hackbox" as I have a spare pillion seat that I could drill and bolt a topbox on. Just worried that the pillion seat clamp might not be man enough for the leverage of the topbox.

Mostly I just take the KTM (990SM-T) as it has a proper topbox. Does mean the S1000RR hardly gets any use though. It was nicked once (with a non-Almax chain) so I'm rather paranoid.

The idea of an S1000RR with a topbox does kinda appeal to me though :D

Got a puncture.... :/

Those tyre plug kits on amazon, are they designed to be used as a temporary measure or can they be used permenantly? The tyre still has plenty of life left, I have all the facilities to remove the tyre so are there any other better plugs from the other side? Or just see if any local tyre place will plug it...?
