What did you do to your bike today?

New tail tidy and whipped off the pillion pegs.

Really good kit from Evotech. Recommended.

Seeing as the engine is out anyway and the head has now been off a couple times, thought I'd check the valve clearances. Luckily I only need 14 new shims.......:cry: At least I can reuse two of the existing ones! Ye, all 16 are outside of spec (too tight). Still, bike is on 34k and I have no record of when they were last checked. Ho hum, more spends on the rebuild!!! Annoyingly a lot of the "kits" only have x3 of each size. I need x7 2.80mm ones!! (plus 1 x 2.70 3 x 2.75 4 x 2.85 1 x2.90 - I can reuse a 2.90 and a 2.85 from the ones already in there)

Gave my 2018 KTM 1290 SAR a face lift with MotoProWorks vinyl kit. Very happy with the results, feels like a new bike. I've fitted vinyl before so wasn't too bad, some swearing but as long as you have the right kit, makes sure the surface is clean and take your time its not too hard a job. Finished it off with a 3 year ceramic coat.

Hung my leathers up for the last time this weekend and tucked the old gal up in the garage until April.
This weekend is currently looking ridable in my location - reckon Burt will have washed away any nasty salt from the roads and temps looking above 10'c... There's life in 2024 yet :D

You're probably right, unfortunately I'm going away for 4 months next week so not got much time to get the old girl out... I need to teach the wife how to use the manual choke so she can start her up once a week

I'm gonna plug it, but it still irritates me. I was the second one today, and it's happened to countless other people too. It's just pure incompetence, winds me up no end.
