FTFYEveryone moaning about 4xxx cards yet plenty of weapons buying them means stupid high prices are here to stay . Next gen a 5060 will probably be close to £1k
No inside knowledge but many forums I go on have users flexing their e-peen with 4xxxx series cards like the only reason they bought them was to show off but moan about the price . And sales have nosedived since crypto crash so profits are going to be way off what they was last yearMind showing Nvidia's and AMDs sales this quarter since you seem to have inside knowledge. As you get them I'll leave this here.

You've just reused the 4080 owners thread image!

This is also on retailers and AIBs because during the mining boom Nvidia saw them charging 2-3X the msrp so thought we'll have some of that. This is entirely on Nv so do not blame the AIB partners or the retailers for the price of this product.
Can still find some for £799 I am looking for an upgrade and have the cash just not paying that!I think all the £800 stock has gone now across all retailers.
£830-£850 remaining though.

Honestly not sure, but if I am going to pay that much I might as well look at 4080s or 4090s. Its already ridiculously priced. I just cant see the point paying £800-£900 for a 12Gig card in 2023. I would prefer to stick with NVidia over AMD, purely because I have dual 28inch monitors both of which a G-Synch monitors.so what other options are you considering?
der8auer's video with lower power target and overclocking vram was fairly interesting:
In short, like other cards, it's good to reduce the power target for a decent drop in power use without a huge hit to fps, and trying to OC the VRAM to overcome the narrow bus didn't give any meaningful gain.
i have seen few comments on reddit talking abt a 3080 to 4070 ti upgrade path, can power consumption explain this?
Possibly ex vat. Cost money to employ people and run a businessapparently 4070ti is sold by board partners for £599, rest is retailer markup.
