What film did you watch last night?

Perks of being a Wallflower

What started out as a teen drama about a kid going to high school turned out to be something totally different (molesting a child) and unless I was mistaken, did Emma Watson's character Sam (18years old) sleep with Charlie (15 years old)?

And for a bunch of kids who thinks they know good music, how can they not know David Bowie?!

I thought or had hoped it to be better. But end up liking it, not loving it.

7/10.

lawless 6/10. i might have enjoyed it more had it not said it was based on a true story. the bad guy was so over the top, you could have thought it was based on a comic. tom hardy was good though and i don't usually like him.

matilda 9/10. yeah it's a kids film but it's great.

Watched a film called Trance first, was an OK watch, although i did get lost a few times when watching it, 6/10.

Went on to watch Stranded which was diabolical, got board and turned it off half way through, was like a bad remake of Aliens when Ripley gets impregnated with an alien, 2/10.

42

The story of Jackie Robinson, the first African American to play Major League baseball in 1947.

It is pretty good and inspiring stuff. Harrison Ford is getting old !!! but he was good, as is the lead Chadwick Boseman. I like movies like these where a man struggles against all odds to win over the mindset of those with prejudice, such as Remember the Titans.

I give it a solid 8/10.

Fast an the furious 6, I was expecting it to be bad from the extended "they got a tank" trailer but it was actually pretty damn good, as with all the others it requires suspension of disbelief but what film doesn't today, and best of all:

not only did they finally get around to Han going to Tokyo to die (he died in the 3rd film, 4/5/6 are set before it) but they used his death to introduce Jason Stratham as the bad guy for the final film (we're two films into a trilogy). Hopefully this means the next film will feature Sean (the main char of Tokyo drift and the only main char not to be in the new trilogy yet) as at the end of TD Dom shows up after Han's death and he and Sean tease a race before the credits roll.

Trust - 8/10 possibly 9/10 - after a recommendation here I watched this. Was sickening to see it unfold mainly because its so true to life.

I watched this tonight and thought it was excellent.
Very well done and I agree does seem all to real from what you read/see in news stories.

8/10

Also saw:

This is the End last week, 10/10 just one of the funniest thing I have ever seen.
I'm a huge Rogen & Franco fan (Freaks and Geeks ftw) and this just reminded me why I love them

World War Z I really enjoyed it but the ending was a bit of a let down. The Jerusalem scene was fantastic though
They overused Isolated System by Muse in it though. A phenomenal song just used too much.

8/10
