What film did you watch last night?

Watched Closer tonight.

Some absolute awesome lines in that film.

"Why is sex so important?"

Reply...

"Because I'm a ****ing caveman!"

I lolled.

I can't stand Jude Law though.

Dark City (Director's Cut) on BD. Have always really liked that movie, great sense of atmosphere to it.

"The only place home exists, is in...your head."

I watched The Invention of Lying, and it was awful.

The reviews did pre-warn me, but I'm a big fan of Gervais so I hoped they were wrong.

It wasn't even remotely funny script wise, and Gervais basically played himself in the film, which is getting a little tired now.

Watched Timecop 2 The Berlin Decision. Seen it before but just fancied watching it again, reasonabe action scenes.

Watched Franklyn, really enjoyed it to say i hadnt heard of it before, good twist at the end as well.

I dont understand why people do this, my friends do it as well. If its a film i havent heard of or havent seen, yet will probably get around to watch, i dont want to know that there is going to be a twist in it before seeing it, regardless of whether the twist is obvious after 1 minute of watching. End rant.

Watched Transiberian yesterday.

Was Ok. The description of it makes it seem like it's a sort of scary film. But its not at all.
I can imagine Ben Kingsley didn't have any problem speaking with a Russian accent since he had to do the same in Schindler's List :p

The Iron Giant. Brilliant film. Adapted from the book of The Iron Man.

Watched that aswell :) Had it on in the background but ended up watching it. Really good, definitely something I would have liked if I saw it when I was younger.

The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford

Amazing movie, fantastic acting from both Brad Pitt and Casey Affleck. A lof of edge of seat moments and suspense.

Worth a watch
