What film did you watch last night?

Fish Tank (2009)

Shot in a location not that far from me. Very gritty and harsh following the life of girl growing up on a council estate with her single mum and younger sister.

Rates highly with me as one of the best UK films I have seen.

Pathetic. I hate EV, EIV, ENTERTAINMENT or whatever they call themselves these days.
Now you can't even pause the #@!#@!# trailers on their discs to go take a leek. You can't SKIP to the next trailer if you don't wanna watch one, you can't even fast forward through boring trailers anymore either. No other studio/distributor puts ALL these sort of limitations on their dvds.

The film was ****e too :(

The wife and I watched the remake of FAME last night.

Yeah it was cheesy, but there was loads of hotties in it and it wasnt nearly as bad as i thought it would be.

Watched "The Garden" yesterday mediocre horror film

currently watching "The Witches Hammer" Ultra low budget Brit vampire film, its so bad it's funny :D can't imagine how they got Stephanie Beecham to be in it!

Went to see two movies in the cinema last night:

It's Complicated - Not too bad a movie but seemed to drag on for quite long

Black Dynamite - Thought this movie was great! One of the funniest movies I have seen this year

Inglourious ******** - enjoyable but not a great.

Script was of course fantastic but I really wanted more blood, and that's quite odd for me.

The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford

Amazing movie, fantastic acting from both Brad Pitt and Casey Affleck. A lof of edge of seat moments and suspense.

Worth a watch

Casey Affleck was amazing in that movie.

Oscar worthy imho.

Watched Moon on blu ray last night. Very much a retro type sci-fi imo, very minimilist set design and light on special effects, but I found the film nothing less than captivating! a brilliantly told story and superbly acted. One of those movies that raises a lot of questions but doesn't necessarily serve the answers up on a plate for you,so much so infact that I'll be rewatching this one again soon.

Picture quality superb but with deliberately muted colours and an intentional gritty look, some of the exterior lunar surface shots have amazing clarity/detail though.

Audio also superb if again understated, the harvester scenes definitely had my Subwoofer rocking hard!

The score continues with the sparse and minimilist theme but when it's there it's superbly atmospheric and emotive, there is an especially cool passage of music towards the end of the film that mixes ambient sounds with a heavy guitar track which builds to a crescendo,it really gets the goose bumps up! as does the film as a whole with its somewhat haunting theme.

It's a must Watch movie imo whether you're a fan of sci-fi or not.

Terminator Salvation - for an all action film it entertained me yet again. For a film thats part of the series, could have been better.

Probably wouldn't work anyway unless you have an American iTunes account. At least the USA Watchmen Digital Copy didn't work for me that way.

Aren't the DC's just normal DVD quality anyway (or worse?)

Probably, as the copy for 500 Days of Summer is 1.2G in size.

I just wanna put it on my phone so i can watch it on the train to work that's all.
