Strangely enough I watched Moon last night - and I agree... it's very 2001 in atmosphere and visual style.

I quite enjoyed it.

Yes,watched it recently on blu ray.

Watched it several times on T.V when I was younger but didn't get as much out of it as my latest viewing! Totally mind blowing and beautiful film imo. You're right! In many ways Moon is 2001's spiritual successor.

Just, wow! There was some mixed reaction when it first came out, too long etc etc

Don't know why I've waited till now, I loved it. The script and the cinematography was top draw, I don't want my 3 hours back. Great stuff

Typical American scary stuff. They all walk towards the scary men/noises they hear etc. Annoying. No one would be that dumb in a situation like that.

The Book of Eli - I really enjoyed this film, it had some good action parts, and the storyline was kept me intrigued. Made me think of the Road Warrior films when watching this one.
