What film did you watch last night?

Fury, 6 or 7 out of 10. Characters were good.

The scale of it was just far too small, early battles were ok with awesome sound effects, then it just got too small, i'm guessing the budget was pretty small? Mostly spent on the cast.

^ I enjoyed the hell out of it.
Pretty much a 9/10 for me.

6/10 is a bit harsh IMO. Each to their own though.

I tend to rate films lower than most in an attempt to be more realistic with the rating. Looking through this thread there are so many people giving out 8/10 upwards for films where are average at best.

I agree 6/10 is probably a little harsh, maybe I should have gone to 6.5/10 :p

lol, I'm not one of those '10/10 wow omgz, it was awesome and changed my life' types :D
I also don't give intentionally low/high ratings to try and look like I'm not being a sheep ;)

Anyway, like I said, each to their own. If that's how you found it, then that's how you found it :)

As you say each to their own. I can see why someone would think it was a higher rated films so have no issue with that :)

Fury - 8/10

A very harrowing look at the ugly side of war - told just how it was with no holds barred. A decent watch - if it weren't for the annoying others in the cinema making too much noise!

Fury just reinstated my love for Logan Lerman.

Gyllenhaal is outstanding in Nightcrawler. So engrossing, the whole thing does not let up. One of those utterly reprehensible characters.

Amazing what you can find to watch whilst on a night shift. A plus was seeing Michelle Ryan :)

TMNT 8/10

Great film for what is, turn your brain off and enjoy the action. Funny and highly enjoyable. Some nice nods to the past as well.

Back from the pictures

Horns - quite good better than expect. 7/10

Nightcrawler - crazy but good. Perfect definition of. Sociopath 8/10

The Purge: Anarchy
Actually enjoyed this. I didn't mind the first movie but this one was actually more entertaining and action packed mainly because of the varied locations whereas number 1 took place pretty much in one house.

Zombeavers
Internet chatter and trailer will lead you to believe it's one film, the actual film is something else though. Either way it's pretty pants and the beavers look like Master Splinter.

Had this on at a mates last night on one of those random channels.

Such a bad film, but oh so funny.
