What film did you watch last night?

I watched transformers: age of cgi overload.
I think I will disagree with the masses and say that i found this to be the best transformer movie so far. I'd actually go as far as to say, add a couple of scenes and change a bit of the script and you could have made it into a good film.
I'd score it 6/10. I liked wallberg, much better than mr le bouef. The daughter was unnecessary as tend to be the female roles in bays movies, but bar a couple of holding gaze shots which could have been cut it wan't overly irritating. They didn't seem to concentrate on the slowmo runnings scenes with breasts pumping as much as they usually do.
The cgi was mainly excellent. I actually liked the autobots this time, they've set things up for an interesting next film if they persue it.

As action sfx movies goes I'd give it 6/10.

Back to the Future - Pretty much perfect 80's comedy, as you all know! Watched it with my sons who loved it but it is now a little odd given that to them 1985 is so far in the past. When Doc comes back from the future at the end having been to 2015 they laughed! They also asked if there were more films and we watched the trailer for number two on Youtube. My youngest said that they have less than a month to invent hover boards before 2015! Would a modern day reboot work?

Anyway 5/5

Journey to Le Mans - 7/10

Documentary narrated by Sir Patrick Stewart and Tiff Needell following the Jota sport team as they enter the 2014 Le Mans 24 hour race in their LMP2 class Nissan powered Zytek.

Watched Battleship at the weekend only because it was on tv - wow, what pile of moronic crap - i'm going to be generous and give it 2/10.

That is generous indeed!

It's kinda awkward-bad.

That's harsh for maze runner!! What did you dislike to greatly about it? I don't think it was exceptional by any means, but a 5 or a 6 I'd say

Yeah very harsh I say about 7/10 the idea was good and the novelty with these hunger games type copies still appealing. It was a ok :D
