What film did you watch last night?

Bad Grandpa, some good lols but might have been because I was fairly drunk. 6/10 :p

Kung Fu Jungle - Donnie Yen

Probably one of the (if not the best) MA movies he made to date. Some the fight sequences were amazing. It really is a movie made as a tribute to all martial arts movie made. The bad guy really stood out for me, very convincing. 9/10 - Highly recommended if you are a fan to martial arts.

Sweet, got this waiting to watch, big MA and Donnie fan. :D

The interview - 8/10.

I actually found it really funny, worth watching :)

The same here very entertaining

The interview was very entertaining. Some nice Chic's in the movie also...

What... the... ****

It was the worst pile of fish I have had the displeasure to see... I cannot think of anything I have seen that's worse... 0/10 from me... negative numbers may be more appropriate.

How there can be a 7.9/10 rating from 90k votes or 3 people on this forum who don't rate it as garbage... baffles me.

Exodus: Gods and Kings.
6/10 not bad but was getting a bit restless after a couple of hours , heard there is a 4 hour cut coming.
Nice to see spud .

Youth in Revolt. I'd forgotten is seen this before, which is not a ringing endorsement. It's ok. Worth it for this exchange when the girl asks the guy to help with her suntan lotion...

Sheeni Saunders: Would you mind applying this to my exposed areas? Hmmm, get turned on easily? Don't stop, Nick. It's only natural. For all the world knows, my vagina could be moist with desire as we speak.
Nick Twisp: Is it?

This afternoon we watched Arthur Christmas with the girls. It was a lot better than I was expecting. Excellent voice cast.

I caught a bit of Raiders of the Lost Ark, which we were watching with our 8 year old, but it's a bi scary for our 5 year old, so I had to take her elsewhere. The 8 year old enjoyed it, though she was a bit scared by the face melting at the end.

Dumb and Dumber To. 3/10.

Just plain bad. There was barely a laugh throughout the film in the cinema, apart from one crazy lady bursting out laughing at every sentence.
I knew it was never going to be good, but still... :(

Can you tell me how it compares to The Ten Commandments?

No magicky stuff eg Hestons staff turning to a snake , storys exactly the same (of course) but not over the top , parting of the red sea was a bit of a letdown more like the tide went out and they walked across.
Actually prefer the Ten Commandments for its entertainment value but if you want a more gritty true to the old/new testaments (cant remember what book its in , its been 40 years since i last read it)then Exodus is the one.

Bad neighbours -

A friend recommend this to me, still not sure why! Pretty poor film, in fairness though there a couple of hilarious moments. The first airbag scene had me choking on my Christmas JD :)

Oh I'll be generous seeing as it's christmas. 5-10
