What film did you watch last night?

Muppets (2011)

Family entertainment, amusimg in places. Typical bad guy plot but quite a good story none the less. An easy watch for all the family (as expected)

6/10

Dumb and Dumber To

2/10 quite simply awful, in fact its just as bad as dumb and dumberer, and both of them should be struck from history.

Foxcatcher

7.5/10 Very interesting (Real) story, and some good performances....well worth a watch.

Dracula Untold

6/10 found it to be a distinctly average film to be honest, couple of nice interesting scenes but nothing more really.

Yesterday me and the Mrs did a Lord of the Rings Extended edition marathon!

We watched all three films back to back. My order of preference is:

Fellowship , Two Towers, Return of the King.

OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

Snowpiercer, what an unbelievably amazing friggen sci-fi movie!

The premise is brilliant, the execution near flawless. It has a Bioshock-esque element to it, in a environment/world so brilliantly realized that I have to take my hat off to the imagination of the guy who created it and the people who made it happen.

Just watch it. Seriously.

9/10.

:D

That's the order I'd place them in as well. :D

Just out of interest: Have you read the books?

Many people who haven't seem to place RotK as the best. MOAR BATTLES!

Condor Man.

Been 30 odd years since I saw it in the cinema. For years iv'e searched it out, and today I finds it.

You want to know why Disney stopped doing live action.... You'd think of course that a film with the great Michael Crawford and the late great Oliver Reed couldn't be all that....

Can't diss it though, it deserves cult status... Disney buried it, more need to know:)

We were on holiday in Monte Carlo when they were filming the boat chase in the harbour. We had a great view of all the action. I was only 8, so it was the best thing ever. :D

Shutter Island. 6/10.

It was reasonable. It's rare for me to enjoy the last quarter of a film more than the rest combined, but this one seemed to tick that box. You could see the 'twist' a mile off too.
