That is praise indeed for the second one, I found the first to be a cheesy yet enjoyable modern sci-fi horror, the second was absolute garbage.



Wall-E on Blu-Ray.

Looks stunning, however I have come to the conclusion that the inclusion of humans was a really, REALLY, bad idea, I mean I understand the need for it, a robot showing humans their lost humanity and all that but the movie was not long enough and the voice acting was of far too low a quality to do it well.

Still 10/10 though, love it.
 
I also thought Watchmen was ****! I was slated at work by a few fanboys for my lack of praise...

I watched 2012 last night. It was also pretty crap

Hopefully she'll be up for some comfort snuggling on the couch when we get to the scary bits. ;) :D
 
I watched Ninja Assassin.

The fact that about a minute in I was already shouting "woah! what the ****!" at my TV should say all that needs to be said.

Not that great... and then in comes Philip Seymour Hoffman to the rescue.

Seriously, that guy could get me watching Hollyoaks. What an actor.

Awesome movie though...was quite surprised at how much blood was being splashed around:eek:p
