What film did you watch last night?

The imitation game 8/10

Much better than I expected it to be, I'm not a Cumberbach fan but I thought he played the role well.
Hard to believe how attitudes have changed in just 50 years.

Seventh Son. 4/10

overly heavy useage of cgi took any heart out of this movie. decent-ish fantasy romp with witches dragons bears ect but it felt slapped together and held up with its cgi.

kids will love it :)

Interstellar... WOW!! Incredible film and would recommend to you all. It's just over 2 and a half hours long, but really keeps you 'stuck in'.. Amazing is all I can say, makes Gravity look like Sharknado. Christopher Nolan FTW 7 straight films to enter the IMDB top 250
9/10

John Wick

I like Keanu Reeves films so no surprise I enjoyed this. One of his better films I think.

Good action in it and well worth a watch.

Can't beat a good old shoot 'em up!

Glad there is a 2nd JW (maybe a 3rd) film on the way!

8/10

:)

Looper. 8/10

Caught it on tv last night & thoroughly enjoyed it, the ending wasn't what I was expecting, in a good way I mean.

Two from the weekend for me:-

Real Steel - Rocky with robots. Was OK as a family watch. 3/5

Wolf of Wall Street - what a fantastic advert for a full on drunk and debauched get rich quick dodgy as you like lifestyle. Was a fun watch, was surprised it was 'based' on fact. Jonah Hill keeps getting better. 4/5

Took the kids to see The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge out of water.

I can safely say that it did not live up to either my, or the kids expectations and in all fairness was just a very expensive episode of Spongebob.

The live action/CGI bits were really well done and quite funny but there were too few, the majority was just cartoon.

I honestly felt like asking for my money back, there's no wonder that piracy is so rife when dross like this is put into the cinema.

Even the kids said that the tango Ice Blasts they had was the best bit!

3/10
