What film did you watch last night?

Untraceable. Standard formula flick. Brings nothing new to the table. It was made in 2008, so I hope Jesse Tyler Ferguson has learned his lesson by now.

5/10.

Kajaki (otherwise known as Kilo Two Bravo) - On Netflix

Jesus christ this film is going to give me nightmares. It's graphic and terrifying in a way that a horror film can't be.

8/10 (not because there's anything wrong with the film but because I'll need counselling)

Watched this tonight after reading this. Oh my.....I do not drink but I think I need something strong after watching this.

Knife edge the entire movie.

My Cousin Vinny 8/10

It's been a long time since I have watched this so decided to throw it on last night. Great movie. If you haven't seen it, watch it. I had a crush on Marisa Tomei for a long time after this movie :)

Next - 3/10

Hour and a half of my life that I want back. The middle of the film was dull as dish water and then to be cheated out of a proper ending was unforgivable.

Inside Out 7/10

Good, solid movie. Not as much fun as other Pixar movies, but did make me laugh a few times. Think it was trying a little too hard to get a message across. But I think most people will love it.

Creed 2/10

Pathetic just like Balboa.I wish Stalone would ****ing give up making these films, I remember once in the Johnathon Ross show he said "No I'm not gonna make another Rocky film, what am I gonna fight, Arthritis?" Seems like he lied.

Any film with Rocky in it will be about Stalone and nobody will give a damn about an actor who plays Creeds son.

Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation 7/10

I liked it.

Even though they use the same basic tricks as the others movies. Nothing really new

Worth a watch if you liked the previous ones.

Sort of remembered I had an Amazon Prime account this morning... Oddly, I never remember agreeing to pay for it after the trial last year, but my bank statement doesn't lie it seems. Anyway, I thought I'd check how my 15mb/s ADSL connection could handle Prime movies, so tried Gravity.

I must say, it's quite the visual experience, but the film does suffer from a bad case of "and then it got worse" :D The KSP'er in me also wishes rendezvous with orbiting objects was that simple! ;)

Solid enough film though and kept me watching. 7.5/10.

Star Wars 8/10.

Was it really nearly 40 years ago? It's still my first cinema memory queueing to see this as a 10 year old.

Watching the original 3 in anticipation for 2 weeks today when I get to see how JJ Abrams does. God I hope it's far superior to the more recent abominations Lucas **** out.

As we've all sent the original trilogy before, many times, I can give my scores for them to save posting again later.

Empire 9/10
Jedi 7/10

The prequel trilogy Jar Jar ****ing Binks/10

Xi You Ji Zhi Da Sheng Gui Lai. Outstanding 3D animation from China, equal to some of the best I've seen from Pixar. It was made on a shoestring budget of just $16 million, and reaped $153 million at the box office.

If you're a Sun Wukong fan, this is definitely the movie for you.

8/10.
