When he dies at the end / saying goodbye to his wife / you see some true life footage. I didn't think it would be my sort of thing, but I'm glad I took the time to watch it.

It bombed at the Box Office...
Guess what?
I really liked it too![]()
I enjoyed most of Tomorrowland, but it gets a bit silly at the end.
Basically once the confrontation with Hugh Laurie happens, up until then ok it's a bit kiddie, but then it get's firmly into the kids film mode. Struck me that it wasn't really consistent in terms of who it was pitched at. Ending was very much a young kids film, the rest of it seemed to be for older kids I would have said (37 in my caseWhich parts, its obviously not meant to be the most believable of films. I mean, humanity possibly coming together to help its self, haha. I have actually watched it about 3-4 times, in the background mind you. I can see my self watching this if im ill, hungover, or severely depressed. or perhaps a combo
During a manned mission to Mars, Astronaut Mark Watney is presumed dead after a fierce storm and left behind by his crew. But Watney has survived and finds himself stranded and alone on the hostile planet. With only meager supplies, he must draw upon his ingenuity, wit and spirit to subsist and find a way to signal to Earth that he is alive.
Airplane II. It really doesn't hold up, particularly not back to back with the brilliant first one. There's a few good jokes in there, but overall it just doesn't compare, and it repeats soooo many jokes.
Definitely best avoided.
Hateful Eight
I really enjoyed it.
If you don't generally like Tarantino's stage play style of film, or his dialogue (and mad love of the N word), then you won't like this.
I, however, do.
Bit long at over two and a half hours though.
How do you rate it compared with Django?

Didn't deserve to bomb though.
