What film did you watch last night?

Room - 10/10

Second watch for me. Definitely one of my top picks of last year. Probably one of the most moving and affecting films I've seen for a good while. I can barely catch the trailer without welling up :p

Its beautifully and cleverly shot, the narration by Tremblay is perfect, the sound design is great. I can't recommend it enough. See it.

No only 4-5 years.

But I would Like to see him or Henry Cavill as the next James Bond.

Got to admit, ever since I saw this photo below, I have thought Henry Cavill would make a great bond.

The photo looks good, but that whole film (the man from u.n.c.l.e) is a void of entertainment.

While we're at it Man of Steel was nowt special.

Didn't know what to expect with UNCLE and actually really enjoyed it! Light hearted comedy with some spy stuff thrown in for fun.

Depends on what you're looking for I guess :)

I have 2 minds on the matter

In my option Tom hardy is the best choice, he can bring the acting and the action. he proven himself in his movies, BUT I don't want him to end up like the last actors who became James bond, just making James bond nothing else and asking silly money for any other movie.

it would deprive us of great movies.

Henry Cavill is my 2nd choice.
I've not seen him in anything yet that would make me say he's a great actor but he could get better. it may just be the role of James Bond that makes him a great actor.

Lastly I see a lot of site pushing Idris Elba
I have a few issues with this,
1, I think He's too old.
2. I've not seen him in any movie with him in main roll.
3. I think he's only getting the push now because he's a black actor.

runner ups
James McAvoy
Michael Fassbender

Both are young and great actors.

Lastly from the James bond track record, it will be a little know start, we will all moan about it at first and then get use to it.

Mad Max: Fury Road - fun to see the old franchise reawaken after 30 years. Whilst the film was fun and action packed it didn't really do anything much for me. 3/5

One interesting point is that I watched The Naked Gun today and thought Priscilla Presley was looking OK (for an older lady twenty odd years ago) and then read that the lovely redhead wife in Mad Max was her grand daughter! Life moves pretty fast, you don't stop to look around once in a while you could miss it!
